After more than 20 years in a coma, Saudi Arabia’s “Sleeping Prince”, Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled, has finally regained consciousness.

He suffered a devastating car accident in 2005, which left him with critical injuries and placed him in a prolonged coma. Despite medical advice to discontinue life support, his family—especially his father, Prince Khaled bin Talal—remained hopeful and refused to give up on him.

This year, on April 18th, the Prince turned 36 years old, and now, against all odds, he has shown signs of awakening.

His father was reportedly speechless and overwhelmed with emotion upon hearing the news.

Will we allow foreign companies to once again be the primary beneficiaries of Africa’s rich mineral resources?
Can we, as a continent, create and enforce regulations that ensure no external company takes more than a 15% share in our natural wealth?
At what point do we say enough — and insist that if a company isn’t willing to operate on fair terms, they simply move on?
Isn’t it time Africa claimed its rightful stake in its own development?

Namibia's President Visits Mozambique, Zimbabwe Calls For Pan-Africanism Solidarity

"Today however marks the turning point in our relations. While we remain committed to deepening our bilateral relations in the spirit of regional integration and Pan-Africanism, we have decided to transform our sisterly relations into a stronger economic partnership, in the context of intra African trade, in order to achieve the Africa We Want” as per the AU Agenda 2063".

"In this context, we reflected on the core means of implementation which will aid and fortify the intended elevation of our cooperation. Amongst these is the holding of the inaugural session of the Namibia-Mozambique Joint Commission of Cooperation. This platform will unlock the full potential of our cooperation, especially in critical sectors of energy, oil and gas, blue economy, education,tourism, logistics , pharmaceuticals, and climate resilience technologies". Parts of President Cde. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah of Namibia stated.
