Felix Kwakye Ofosu and those asking Rev. John Ntim Fordjour to provide evidence before a full blown investigation will be conducted into the AirMed mysterious flight activities in Ghana are not only ignorant but very STUPID.

For The Records Educate us on this today.

Our own Ghanaian laws, specifically, Security and Intelligence Agencies Act (Act 526) enjoins agencies to act on "credible suspicion or intelligence tip-offs” and it never demands evidence before investigations can be conducted.

Aside that, international protocols and best practices in the fight against global illicit drugs activities that Ghana hvae signed on to do not enjoin the MP to provide anything of evidential value as a prerequisite for National investigation.

Under the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) best practices, specifically Articles 8, 33, and 36, public officials including Members of Parliament and Whistleblowers are encouraged to raise red flags on serious matters like illicit drug activities and money laundering across borders. When such reg flags like what Rev. Fordjour has raised occur, the government is obligated to respond promptly and initiate preliminary investigations even without hard evidence.

INTERPOL and transnational crime agencies expect that any credible suspicion involving international drug routes (like air ambulance flights) triggers an internal review by Ghanaian aviation authorities, customs, and narcotics agency. The burden of proof does not rest on the MP; rather, it is the duty of national agencies to verify or debunk the claims.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) recommends that member states, including Ghana treat any alert—whether from an MP, civil society, or public official—as a trigger for enhanced scrutiny under aviation safety and customs regulations. No formal complaint or evidence is required to inspect an unscheduled flight under suspicion of illicit cargo.
