A piece of information started circulating on Facebook and some WhatsApp platforms by people purported to be affiliated with our venerable late Mr. Godfrey Abulu. The message extolled the achievement of the late MP and further demanded that Abulu’s name be resurrected. But it is good to set the records straight, that Faustina Akeyom Abulu has no blood relation with our former MP or the Abulu family.
Faustina is married to Beatrice Abulu’s son, Ernest Abulu Kwotua, the nephew of the late Godfrey Abulu, whose father hails from Paga. So, in effect, Faustina is married to Paga-Babile, not Nogsenia, where the Abulu family comes from; her name should have been Faustina Akeyom Kwotua.
Ernest Abulu’s father, Mr Karl Kwotua Alirah, died on 7th February, 2023, and was buried in Paga. A cursory look at the funeral announcement flyer captured Abulu Ernest Kwotuah, the husband of Faustina Akeyom Abulu, as the first son.
It therefore baffles our imaginations because she wants to appropriate the Abulu family name without compensation, for her political survival. Our investigations revealed that no member of the Abulu family adopted Madam Faustina Akeyom. Some members of the Abulu family are not happy that Madam Faustina Akeyom has forcefully used the family name for her parochial interest.
It's even alleged that Ernest Abulu Kwotuah, the husband of Madam Faustina Akeyom, transferred his vote to his home constituency in the just-ended national polls instead of voting in the Navrongo Central Constituency because his preferred candidate, Samson Tangombu Chiragia, lost the primaries to Hon. Simon Aworigo.
Why do people want to benefit from the system they campaigned so much against?. forwarded as received….
