Arturo reams out Vincente in front of everyone for being late.

Montse shows up at the bar Erick is at and takes him away from his poker game. Surprise, Lisset accosts him outside, demanding he produce phone and fake paperwork for not only her, but her friends. He refuses. She takes his money and threatens him…

Flor calls Nicolas to cry on his shoulder he is “the only one” who understands. He goes back into his meeting with Ish without the slightest trace of guilt.

Elsa goes to find her son and when she knocks on the door a huge hulk of a man answers the door (hub or bf?) She calls out for her son who mercifully appears. The man pulls a gun and threatens to shoot the son but Lorena hits him on the head with a bottle. As Lorena has the guy’s gun pointing at him, Elsa hands her son a fistful of cash and tells him to go and find safety. She wipes the gun clean just as Amanda breaks down the door asking if the man is dead. Elsa puts her hands up surrendering. Fortunately, Lorena manages to escape.

Frida surprises Martha "La Superiora" at the bar.

Elsa and the man are arrested; she is put in the squad car as Lorena watches sadly.

Lisset introduces herself to Dario saying she has a lot of experience and pleads for a chance for a job. He says he has to check with his wife first but we see the first genuine smile from him thus far.

Ale is waiting for Gabriela in front of her apartment; he has a letter from Lorena for her. She is grateful and thanks him. We hear Lorena’s voice but I couldn’t translate what was said.

Amanda informs her father of Elsa's arrest.

Ale researches Juan Pablo on the computer.

Frida fills Montse and Lisset in on the job when Lorena approaches explaining what happened with Elsa. Speaking of, Patricio interrogates Elsa who tells them she wants to talk to her lawyer – Alejandro!! Neither Patricio nor Amanda look happy. An angry Amanda calls Alejandro – he is on the way

As Nicolas fusses with his appearance like a nervous schoolboy, Flor arrives. A bottle of red wine is poured. Flor demurely says she doesn’t want to burden him with her problems (yeah, right) …Nicolas moves closer and puts his hand on her knee. She is beautiful, intelligent, blah, blah. As he says she is marvelous he kisses her and as he pushes her back on the couch she says no and he immediately apologizes. She gets up to leave but kisses him on the cheek again. He leans against the door, mad at himself (as he should be).

Gabriela shows up at Ish’s office but I couldn’t translate what she said.

LATER TONIGHT ON LORENA(SEEKING JUSTICE)

Patricio and Dario with Martha close behind go upstairs to investigate the noise. The girls have wedged themselves under furniture and are undetected. Martha returns saying they can stay there for the night but cautions them to be quiet.

In her makeshift bed, Lorena flashes back to Ish telling her he is married; then meeting Gabriela at the playground ready to take off and Ish accosting her.

Carmen sets the table as Martha prepares breakfast for an army while listening to the news. She tells Carmen that after Dario’s father died, he lived with his grandparents and she distanced herself from Davio due to work. Dario appears and is his usual sour self; later he and Carmen argue about Martha being an influence on Matias. Montse calls Hugo…she needs a favor.

Vincente joins Flor at the office; I believe Vincente wants him in the family biz.

Florencia calls Nicolas who smiles broadly upon hearing her voice. They agree to meet for coffee.

Lorena and crew arrive at Hugo’s. Montse introduces her friends using the wrong names. Lisset looks on with distain…He tells Frida straightaway he wants to get rid of her braids.

Gabriela goes to see Ish and meets a smitten Vincente. He asks Ish about the problems he and Florencia are having and reinforces that Florencia loves Ish. He later sees Gabriela at the bus stop and offers to drive her home but first, a cup of caramel coffee. They learn he is Flor’s brother; she is Lorena’s sister. She later tells him Lorena is innocent. He asks for her number but I believe she demurs because she lost her phone.

Nicolas greets Flor with a kiss on the cheek. She brings Ish up almost immediately. Is there another woman? She grabs his hand and he immediately spills the beans about Lorena. She is incredulous at first then calls her an assassin. She thanks him then kisses him on the cheek, knowing exactly how to play him for sympathy and information.

Arturo asks Veronica where Vincente is…

Hugo has worked wonders with the girls’ hair. Montse and Frida look beautiful. Elsa doesn’t recognize herself. Lorena has a shorter but stylish cut; they call him superman. But the biggest change is Lisset with shoulder length hair parted on the side with just a wave of a curl. Frida wants to take a box of brightly colored wigs. Hugs all the way around.

Florencia tells Veronica Ish and Lorena are amantes. Veronica is appalled; Veronica seems angrier than Flor!

Amanda, Ale’s policewoman friend (and Patricio’s daughter) shows up at Alejandros for a pasta dinner. She spouts on about Lorena Martinez and Alejandro tries to focus her on dinner. Uh oh the doorbell rings, Ale goes to answer it and the five fugitivas are standing there!!! He tells them to go up the stairs and after she leaves he goes out and brings them in. The girls introduce themselves and Ale handles it well asking for “a word” with Lorena. Later, there is plenty of pasta to go around as they discuss the next steps.

Martha and Matias are playing video games when Dario comes in and ruins it. Martha retreats to her room; Carmen tries to get Martha to come out but Martha demurs, looking sad.

Ish comes home to a stern looking very upset Flor. She confronts him, she wants the truth. Is he having an affair with Lorena Martinez?? Answer me! No he says! He goes on the offense and she tearfully reams him out for having an affair with Juan Pablo’s murderer!! He goes into the bedroom later where she is on her side ignoring him. He tries to convince her to no avail; she gives him a frosty buenos noches. In another bedroom, Ale and Lorena have a sweet conversation…

Arturo interrupts Vincente’s looking at Gabriela’s online social account to berate him some more; are we sure Arturo isn’t Dario’s father??

Lorena wakes up and Ale is next to her (both fully dressed). The girls are on chairs and couches in the living room, sleeping sitting up. “Hot cakes” Ale proclaims. The women give lots of compliments regarding Ale. Lorena gives Ale an extra long hug when the women leave, filing out on by one.

Vincente, being kind of stalkish, shows up at Gabriela’s. She seems put off initially but then he gives her a phone.

Ish and his team discuss a plan for Lorena and friends.

Did you know that Angelique Boyer almost missed out on one of the biggest successes of her career in 2013?

At the time, everything indicated that she would be sharing the poster with William Levy in La Tempestad. His companion at the time, producer José Alberto Castro, reportedly supported his participation in the project, after discussions with producer Salvador Mejía.

However, according to the press people of the time, Angelique reportedly declined the role, particularly amid widespread rumors about William Levy's alleged lack of professionalism. Other actresses such as Ariadne Díaz and Esmeralda Pimentel have also declined the role. Ximena Navarrete finally got picked.

If Angelique Boyer had agreed to play La Tempestad — a telenovela often considered one of Televisa’s biggest failures in 2013 — she would probably have missed the opportunity to play the lead role in Lo que la vida me robó.

And we know what's next... Lo que la vida me robó has become one of the most remarkable telenovelas of the decade.

Plot Summary
Lorena Martínez is unjustly sentenced to 45 years in prison after being accused of the murder of Juan Pablo, a deceitful and hypocritical man who pushes Lorena to be his ally in his multiple infidelities. Her trial is manipulated with false evidence, as the real murderer needed a scapegoat.

In the penitentiary, Lorena meets Lissette Parra, Frida Segovia, and Montserrat Torres, and they begin a tumultuous relationship. Together, they devise an excellent strategy to weaken the prison guards and escape on New Year's Eve along with several other inmates, aided by Martha Pineda “La Superiora”.

They immediately become the most wanted fugitives in the country. The case is assigned to prosecutor Ismael Domínguez, a romantic interest of Lorena, who abandons her in prison after firmly believing that she killed his best friend, Juan Pablo.

These allies will face various dangers to evade justice, escaping to several places with the help of different characters, changing their appearances, and supporting each other, forming a strong sisterhood. Lorena, in particular, will fight against adversity to prove her innocence with the help of Alejandro Castillo, a man who will restore her hope for the future.

Rocio watches the news. It talks about the success of the Portillo business. She gets her memento box, removed a photo of her defunct husband out, then gets something wrapped in a red shawl from another cabinet and puts it in her purse. This is for you my love. She kisses the photo.

Val effusively tells Nick about her niece. They're off to buy her a gift.

Juan wants to go home and shower and changes to be presentable for his daughter. He tells his folks he plans to marry Mar ASAP. They tell him they approve. Susana admits she was hard on Mar because of how she felt about Ofelia.

Val and Nico talk some more. Is she rejecting him? I can't tell. He tells her whatever she decides he'll always be there for her

Rocio is at the mansion. She shoves the maid and yells for Luis. He starts down the stairs as she yells it's your fault I was kept from my son. Arturo hears the yelling and asks her what she is doing there.

Val and Mar coo over the baby. Mar has never felt so much love. They both understand mom better now

Luis is telling Rocio to leave as she calls Arturo, hijo, which Luis questions. He tries to force her out as Arturo intervenes then Nick enters the house as Rocio goes after him because he betrayed her son.
Back to Mar and Val. She and Juan are going to get back together, but first she needs to talk to Luis. Val says the whole Portillo family are now on her side. Mar wonders which guy Val will choose.

Luis once again tries to remove Rocio. She pulls out a pistol. She insists Luis tells the truth. She fires at him but Nick jumps in front of him and is shot in the shoulder/chest. Luis tells you just shot your son. She keeps insisting Arturo is her son. Turns out she abandoned Nick because she wasn't up to caring for him. She admits to pushing Graciela in front of a bus. Nick has heard it all but looks pretty bad. Arturo claimed to be Rocio's son to protect Nick from the truth. Nick tells Luis he always considered him dad and he was the best.

Val tells Mar she doesn't want to hurt either of them. It may be best to tell them both no. O comes in to visit, her granddaughter is strong. The 4 Garcia's.

Is it a death scene? Nick tells Arturo to take care of Valeria. Then he closes his eyes and slumps further in Luis arms. Rocio wails because she likely killed her son. Still no ambulance...

Some time later. Luis, Cami ,Leo and Arturo are at the cemetery delivering flowers to a grave. They can't believe it. But always will be with us. Ah they are discussing Cecilia, because thankfully Nico arrives with flowers. Sorry I'm late . It's the one year anniversary. Luis thanks her for helping him regain his children.

O is bringing yellow flowers to the Virgincita. She thanks her for making her a better mother and grandmother.

Mar and Juan bring their new baby to see Luis. Her name is Luisa ( how sweet). Juan thanks him for protecting Mar when she needed help. Happy families. Nick has recovered all movement in his shoulder. Leo is working with Dad as his right hand man. Nick and Arturo are working together, and Cami has joined the company. Mar tells him, see you united the family. He says now I can go in peace which she tells him you can't leave our lives now! We want you to be Luisa's godfather

The Portillo's are in a meeting at the office all giving their respect input of the business.. Luis comes in. They are off to lunch.

Val and Mar are in her apartment. Val gets a phone call. It's some international lady ( Carolina
Guillen) that likes her photos and wants to sign her up. Val says yes. If this were earlier in the series I'd be questioning this event. The lady looks at the phone in a sinister type way after she hangs up. Mar wants Val to be Luisa's madrina. Mar wonders what brought about Val's change towards Ofelia. Mom told me things that made me see her differently. When she is ready she will tell you also.

Let's not forget Paula. She is the laughing stick of her cell. They don't believe she is a Portillo, nor a famous model. One of the inmates asks would she like a gift for when she leaves. She slices her in the face with a knife. Didn't see that coming!

Val still hasn't made her choice as she speaks with Nick and their song plays.

Cami is drawing designs in Cecelia's studio. Luis is delighted she is using the space. She says the space inspires her.

Val and Arturo meet for a meal I think it is "their" place. He doesn't want her answer there. Is she turning him down. I'm so confused.

Nick visits Rocio in prison. She thanks him for coming. She tells him a day never went by that she didn't regret giving him up, but when he was born she couldn't cope without his father. Nick tells her his mother told him everyone deserves a second chance. He will continue to visit her and get to know her ( Arturo has a lot to answer for in her being in jail. Nick would have been able to handle the news, I believe,.. well except for the pushing of Graciela and Mar of course, that may have sent her to jail). She can call him son.

Luis stops and admires a photo montage on the wall at his house. Cecilia is in the center. Leo made it it seems.

O is at home. Her metal door sure is loud when people knock. It's Susana and Jacinto. He has a jug of sweet tea. She has a baby gift. Looks like she knitted Luisa a sweater. It's white. O says white? She has a yellow blanket for baby. Jacinto tells them let's not compete who has the best gift. They are both pretty. Juan and Mar In a pink pants suit arrive with Luisa. Susana is sweet to her. Luis, Leo and Cami arrive. He brought some wine. I'm not sure if it is a hoity toity wine or just a kind she likes. I think there was a joke in that gift. ( Can Anyone explain it?) Val arrives in a bustier top and jeans. The two rivals for Val's affection meet outside the Casita. They have agreed to respect vals choice. Hugs

Paula is trying to befriend one of the inmates so they are a team against the other two.

O thinks Luisa would make a great baby diaper model....Val says mom you never change.

Val takes both her guys aside in the house to tell them her decision. They all embrace. Photo is then taken of the Garcia girls and we have no definite answer of what or who she chose... THE END

Graco Sendel confessed how Angelique Boyer is outside of the recording set, now that he lives with the actress in Domenica Montero.

"Now I understand why she is where she is, now I understand the actress she is, because she's super generous," she indicated.
And it is that, the young actor thanked the attitude, always respectful and empathetic of the actress during the recordings of the melodrama.

Yes she is the protagonist, yes she is who she is, but she helps you, allows you to act with her well, she is a good companion, she is very cute, very polite," she expressed.
