Legendary Ghanaian musician, Okomfo Kwaadee has joined the campaign against the abuse of drugs including opioid, popularly known as "Red" or "Wo nim Red".In this video, the Ataa "Adwoa" hitmaker in an exclusive interview with PAG Tv News expressed his readiness to join scores of other celebrities to walk through the principal streets of Kumasi on August 22nd, 2025, to raise awareness on the growing usage of some unprescribed and illicit drugs amongst the youth in Ghana.The walk which is dubbed "Ghana Against Red" is organized by Willingway Recovery & Rehabilitation Center, located at Ejisu in Kumasi, precisely Asawase in the Ejisu Municipality of Ashanti Region.Other stakeholders supporting this first of its kind walk include the Ashanti Regional Mental Heath directorate and Ghana Education Service among others.Okomfo Kwaadee born Jerry Anaba, also indicated that the walk will begin at Pampaso, through the central business district of Adum to Jubilee Park near the Prempeh Assembly Hall, where key dignitaries shall mount the stage to educate the public about the cost effect as well as measures to refrain from drug related addictions.PAG TV News.
