Breaking news from Update News Tv Gh 👈 Daddy Lumba’s family have responded to the suit from Akosua Serwah, the legitimate wife of the late musician through their lawyers.

In a statement that has been released, the family of Daddy Lumba have argued that Akosua Serwaah had already divorced the late musician as far back in 2018 when she returned ‘drinks’ to Lumba after refusing to move to Ghana to take care of the musician when he got sick 15 years ago and needed her to come take care of him.

Point 3 in the statement reads:

"We wish to state that your client has already presented traditional drinks to the family of the late Daddy Lumina to signify the dissolution of the marriage which the late Daddy Lumba acknowledged. By the traditions of Akans, generally and the Fosu Family in particular, which we have no doubt you are familiar with, the presentation of drinks by a wife to the family of the husband when accepted effectively dissolves the marriage between the two."

The statement also goes on to say that the Lumba family recognises Priscilla Ofori, aka Odo Broni, as the real wife of the late Lumbar, with whom they lived through thick and thin, and were blessed with six children during the 15 years they lived together until his final day on earth.
