What do I do if my Dstv channels are not showing?

(1) Make sure to check your DStv subscription due date.

(2)Switch on your DStv decoder before making payments.

(3) Find out if the weather is cloudy or it’s raining outside.

(4)Read the message on the TV screen and find the error code that comes with it.

(5) Login to clear E16, E32, or E48-32 through the online portal or what’s app bot.

(6) Pay your subscription if your DStv has expired and your channels are not showing.

(7)Pay the exact or more the amount of the subscription price of your DStv package.

(8) If there is no signal or E48-32, then it is recommended you call installer to come and fix that for you. We have installers on standby reach out to us.

(9) Check the back of your decoder and tight the f-connector that connects the satellite dish to your receiver.

(10) Access channels only available on the package you paid for.

To start, on your TV remote, select “Menu” and then “Settings.” Next, select “Channel Setup” and select “Antenna” or “Air,” depending on your TV. Make sure you are not on “Cable.” Select “Channel Search” or “Channel Scan.

(1) GO on your TV remote, press SOURCE and go to DVB-T.
(2) Press MENU.
(3) Navigate to CHANNEL and select AUTO-TUNING.
(4) Select your relevant country. Auto-tuning will begin.

WHY IS MY DSTV SHOWING E48-32?
This simply means there is no signal on your satellite dish.
A loss of signal will give you a “E48-32 This may be due to bad weather or a faulty connection in the installation” error on your DStv decoder.

1: Try rebooting the decoder.
2: Check F-type connectors.
3: Correct the LNB alignment.
4: Adjust satellite dish alignment.
5: Replace a faulty LNB.
6: Move your satellite dish.
7:Cut down or prune trees that may obstruct the signal.
Poor DStv Signal strength causes your decoder to lose signal. As a result, your TV may show either pixelating or freezing pictures. In extreme cases, you can even have a no picture situation in which case your decoder will display an E48-32 no signal error message.
So, how do you increase the signal strength? In short, you can improve your DStv signal strength by making sure that the satellite dish and LNB are both aligned correctly. In this article, I m going to show you how to clear E16, E19, E30, & E32 error codes via the internet without calling Multichoice customer service.

If you are currently experiencing any of these codes,

E16 The Smartcard is not enabled for this channel. It may be that your account has been suspended. Please contact the MultiChoice Call Centre for assistance.
E19 Your account has been suspended. Please contact the MultiChoice Call Centre for assistance.
E30 Checking the subscription status… If this message still appears after 2 minutes, please contact the MultiChoice Call Centre for assistance.
E32 The Smartcard is not enabled for this channel. It may be that your account has been suspended. Please contact the MultiChoice Call Centre for assistance.
