Last Sunday, we had our Bible Study Sunday Service where we reflected on Kingdom Principles for Societal Transformation.

Jesus reminds us in Matthew 5:13–16 that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world and we are called to preserve what is right and shine His truth in every area of our lives.

We were also reminded that the foundation of this life is the fear of God, a reverence that guides our decisions and gives us the courage to stand for righteousness, just as seen in Exodus 1:15–21.

True transformation begins from within. When we live by God’s principles, we influence our homes, workplaces, and communities for His glory.

As Scripture says in Romans 12:21, “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Grateful for the Word and the opportunity to grow together. 🙏

On Saturday, 4th April 2026, during the Easter Convention at the Sagnarigu District, I had the privilege to minister the Word of God to His people on the topic: “Died With Christ, Are Alive with Him.” (Romans 6:5–11)

We reflected on how sin brought spiritual death and separation from God, but through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, our old nature was crucified with Him so that we might walk in newness of life.

One key reminder from the message was this:
“To die to sin is to have nothing to do with it.”

As believers, we are therefore called to count ourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus, living in the freedom and righteousness made possible through the cross.

Grateful to God for the opportunity to share His Word and for the lives that were blessed during the service. 🙏

REVERENCE FOR THE LORD

Reverence for the Lord is more than fear; it is a deep, conscious awareness of who God is and who we are before Him.

Scripture says,
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” — Proverbs 9:10

This does not describe a terror that drives us away from God, but a holy awe that draws us into alignment with His will. It is the kind of fear that produces obedience, humility, and spiritual sensitivity.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 brings it even closer:
“Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”

In other words, reverence is not emotional; it is practical. It shows in how we live, speak, decide, and respond to God’s instructions.

Reverence is what keeps worship pure, prayer sincere, and service grounded. Without reverence, spirituality becomes casual, familiar, and eventually shallow.

To revere the Lord is to recognize His holiness, submit to His authority, and order our lives around His presence.

And in a generation that is comfortable with God, the Spirit is calling us back to being conscious of God.

GRATEFUL FOR HOW FAR I’VE COME, EXCITED FOR WHAT LIES AHEAD

Today, I celebrate another year of life, not just counting age, but counting growth, lessons, and grace.

I’ve come a long way not perfectly, but intentionally. Through lessons that shaped me, seasons that stretched me, and moments that taught me responsibility, discipline, and faith.

I’m grateful for who I am becoming and excited about the future ahead, one filled with purpose, learning, impact, and deeper alignment with God’s will.

The journey continues, and the best is still unfolding.
