YENNUTONNA FOUNDATION in the northeast region Bunkpurugu-Nakpanduri DIST.
Feeding and support over hundreds of people in the Bunkpurugu-Nakpanduri and Yunyoo-Nasuan Districts on July 11th-13th, 2024.
Yennutonna Foundation base in Nakpanduri presented bags of maize to the people of Bunkpurug-Nakpanduri and Yunyoo-Nasuan Districts. During this year's program, the team went around distributing bags of maize to needy people in about 51
communities. Villages like Nasuan,Mozio, Yunyoo, Bunbuna,Binde,Ngama-Gberuk,Najong on 1,Najong 2,Chintilung no 1,Chintilung no 2,Nakpeuk no 1,Nakpeuk no 2,Jilik no 1,Bunkpurgu central,Bunkurugu Zongo,Nanyer pal 1,Nanyer pal 2,Bamang no 1,Paknatik,Gbetmopaak,Yenbor,Sayeegu,Konchian-Gberuk,Sayeegu,Fourkumbatuk,Tamonta,Tusik,Kunkoakidaan,Konbayu Bufauk,Tanyem,Nagboaur-paak,Tanbona,Gbadauk,Gbankoni,Sinsabina,Guagbiang,Naagbonr,Naslabok,Gbmgbamonn-Kanbatiak,Badiimsurugu,Timpaat,Nakpanduri and Naabork are some of the communities that benefit from the program each year.
The founder of the foundation, Mr. Nanleeb Konlan said the foundation seeks to put smiles on the faces of the less privilege. Mr Nanleeb, together with his wife Mrs Roxanne Singnenmong Konlan and their children, farm mostly maize every year and use the produces to support the needy in the surrounding communities.
The foundation formed women groups in these districts, including Togo. The women's groups also started their farms with the support of the Yennutoona Foundation. They also farm maize and economical trees like cashews and shea nuts. The women's groups are the ones who go around their communities, taking care of the beneficiaries of the foundation by washing their clothes and fetching firewood and water throughout the year. Yennutonna Foundation recently opened a library in Nakpanduri for the students' use in their studies from kindergarten to university. All students are welcome to come and make good use of the library.ScarpFMNews
