Communication professionals mourned with chiefs and family members of Nana Kwasi Gyan-Apenteng at the International Press Centre as the Adaduanan (40 day observance) of the veteran journalist and communication specialist was marked on Friday 27th June 2025. Notable people such as Prof Audrey Gadzekpo, Cameron Duodu, Ajoa Yeboah, David Dontoh among others, also signed the Book of Condolence stationed at the Press Centre.

Other scheduled events such as GAW Sunday, Vigil Night , Launch of his Memoir, and the main burial rites are in the offing. Each event will be properly communicated.

Nana Kwasi Gyan-Apenteng's Adaduanan (40 days observance) had a first session at his resident church, Covenant Presbyterian Church, Dzorwulu in the early hours of Friday 27th June 2025. Nana Kwasi Gyan-Apenteng, who until his passing in May 2025 was the Board Chair of Ghana News Agency. He was the former chair of the National Media Commission and former President of Ghana Association of Writers.

Y'all saw the hashtag ?! Yeah, so the Oba of the Yoruba Community in Ghana was there! Lagos Town is the old name for Accra Newtown. It got its name due to the Yoruba population there. The couple have Yoruba Heritage, and they both grew up in Accra Newtown A.K.A Lagos Town

Eid Ul-Fitr Mubarak.

On the occasion of the Muslim Feast of Fasting. I present to you my first official Islamic marriage ceremony. Live from the National Mosque. Between my friend and neighbour Anyass Mohammed and his beautiful bride.
