The urban roads engineer for Mampong municipal, Ingr. Benjamin Kwesi Letsu, has criticized the functionality of the department at the assembly and expressed concerns regarding the department's placement under the works department at the assembly, which, in the engineer's view, is not appropriate.

A functioning Urban Roads department should be equipped with a strong car, computers, printer, documented road details and proper chairs, but what I found upon arrival falls short of indicating that the office was operational - Ingr. The feeder roads building allocated to the Fire Service should be reverted back to Urban Road, rather than the single room office that we are currently operating from. The system allows the assembly to have 21 staff under the Urban Roads department - Ingr Benjamin Kwesi Letsu

I recently had an encounter with a friend who inquired about the forthcoming data price reduction scheduled for next month. My concern, however, lies not with the reduction itself, but rather with the subpar internet connectivity prevalent throughout the country. The internet speed is remarkably poor, and unless we address this issue, the price reduction will be rendered inconsequential.

You cannot enjoy better internet connectivity at AAMUSTED-M, Monico, Mampong NMTC, Kyiremfaso, and some areas in the Municipality. Obtaining a fast internet connection is the real priority and I expect the sector minister to direct Telcos to erect masts or any other alternative to expand connectivity.
