Sayibu Hamdaway, a visionary leader and passionate student advocate, has risen to prominence as a leading contender in the 58th National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) General Secretary race. His candidacy is defined by his unwavering commitment to student welfare and development, backed by an impressive track record that has garnered him widespread recognition.

As the Upper West Regional NUGS lead advocate for the "See Something, Say Something" campaign, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Security, Sayibu played a pivotal role in promoting student safety and awareness. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at Simon Diedong D***o University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS), Wa, Upper West Region, Sayibu is widely recognized for his dedication, clear vision, and passion for transformative leadership. He has held several key leadership roles, including his current position as Chairperson of the Monitoring and Evaluation Committee of the University Students' Association of Ghana (USAG). In the 2022/2023 academic year, he served as the Local NUGS President at SDD-UBIDS, where he made significant contributions to the development of his institution.
