*TWO YEARS of HON. KOJO ASEMANYI, A MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN THE 8 YEARS OF EKOW OKYERE PANYIN EDUAMOAH.*
The Gomoa East NPP communications team, intercepted with shock, a video circulating on social media, purporting to be an interview between some media personnel and the most failed member of parliament, under the fourth republic in the history of Gomoa East, Mr. Ekow Okyere Panyin Eduamoah.
In the video, the former legislator, who for fear of loosing his third bid to represent the good people of Gomoa East in parliament, chickened out from the parliamentary contest in 2016, was seen shamelessly attempting to make a comparison between himself and the most industrious MP in the history of Gomoa East, Hon. Kojo Asemanyi (aka Call your MP).
Apart from merely warming the Gomoa East seat in parliament throughout the 8 years, unable to move a single motion on the floor of parliament, the former MP's stewardship was ranked *"F"* by the Africa watch magazine for nonperformance.
Recent revelations from citinews also has it that, among the 74 former MPs indebted to the ministry of Agric, the former MP has his name boldly registered there.

The communications team wishes to state unequivocally that we are ever ready to compare the 2 years of Hon. Kojo Asemanyi, to the entire 8 year reign of Mr. Ekow Okyere Panyin Eduamoah, and challenge him to bring it on board.
To that extent, the Gomoa East Constituency Executive of the NPP and indeed the entire citizens of Gomoa East, are by this release, compelling Mr. Okyere Panyin Eduamoah to boldly come out with his achievements in parliament, and in the constituency for the 8 long years he occupied the seat, by answering the following;
1. He should account to the good people of Gomoa East, how best he influenced and impacted the lives of his constituents.
2. How many youth he engaged in employment.
3. what he used his common fund to do in his 8yrs stewardship.
3. How many advocacies he advanced on behalf of Gomoa East, either on radio, television or in the print media?
4. How many times he spoke in parliament?
5. How many community Invitations he honored in his 8 years as MP?
6. How many community projects he supported or donated monies to?
7. How many Assembly meetings he attended throughout his 8 year rule?
While the disappointing former MP would be struggling to concoct face-saving lies, we wish to give him a little teaser of the achievements of this illustrious God fearing, Humble and affable gentleman of Member Parliament, Hon. Kojo Asemanyi, in the 2 years he ascended the seat:
1. He is one of the most eloquent and articulate young MPs in parliament today, having been appointed as the secretary to the Young Parliamentarians Forum, which he was instrumental in its formation. Within the 2 years, Hon Asemanyi has contributed to several debates on the floor of the house. Indeed, he was the one that drew the house’s attention to the infamous Land Guards menace plaguing the country.
2. Hon Kojo has also done more advocacy than ANY OTHER MP for our dear constituency, since the 4th Republic. Kojo is often seen on GTV, Adom TV, UTV, as well as on several radio discussions.
3. Kojo is very closer to his constituents, having bodily displayed his mobile phone number on billboards under the caption “call your MP”; an action which has endeared him to even his friends from the opposite side. Besides, he is seen at ALMOST ALL functions in the constituency.
4. Hon Kojo has been VERY HONEST in the use of his common fund;
- assisted payment of school fees for several needy students at SHS and tertiary. This runs into several thousands of cedis.
- Has been donating sewing machines and hair dryers to ALL GRADUANDS who complete apprenticeship training successfully, as a way of equipping them to start something on their own.
- Hon Kojo has also donated hospital beds to health facilities in the constituency, as well as a brand new Ambulance to St. Gregory Hospital in buduburam.
- supported the payment of medical bills of some needy people
- supported several community projects, Kweikrom, Buduatta, Okyereko police station, Fetteh Fishermen & market, Nyanyano market, Buduburam D/A school, Akotsi pry school, Ojobi chips compound, Adawukwa toilet, Dampase JHS, Anapa Nsu pry school etc
- Assisting drivers to obtain their drivers’ licenses, by paying 50% of the total cost for every applicant.
5. Lobbied to get water extension to several communities in the district; Nyanyano, Nyanyano Kakraba & millennium areas, Buduburam, Fetteh Kakraba etc which are currently ongoing. All these communities had these water challenges even as Hon Okyere Panyin was in office.
We are fully aware that apart from using his common fund to develop his multicare private school at Potsin and building houses for himself, and snatching somebody’s wife from him to marry at Amoanda, there is nothing to show for his 8 years in office, and he better shuts up! If not, we would be compelled to drag him to the special prosecutor.
In Conclusion, we want to give a free advice to the former MP, Mr. Ekow Okyere Panyin Eduamoah, to kindly stay his corner, and desist from calling for a war he cannot fight.
