SATURDAY READING AND FUN CLUB REPORT
[SATURDAY 2ND, AUGUST, 2025]

Introduction

The Saturday Reading and Fun Club was held on Saturday, 2nd, August, 2025 at The Harmony Hub/Yoga Village (Klefe Demete-Ho). The event aimed to promote reading, socialization, and community engagement among participants.

Activities and Attendance
The club's activities and attendance are summarized below:

Attendance: 15

Time Activity
10:30 AM: Question and Answers Session
11:30 PM: Poems and Rhymes Session
12:00 PM : Art Session with Jogbeley
1:00 PM: Break
2:00 PM: Art Session with Jogbeley continues
2:30 PM: Socialization (Chats, Pictures etc)
3:00 PM: Closed

Detailed Report
1. Questions and Answers Session:(10:30 AM): Lead by Constant Nonu: Questions was put before the kids for them to answer. Question where related to topics they have learned in school and every child contributes by answering the question.
Examples are telling about your self etc

2. Poems and Rhymes Session (11:30 PM): Lead by Festus Tandoh: The kids were taught a new poem titled 'I LOST MY FEAR'. Moral of the story is to make them courageous and then to have self belief in other not to be afraid in challenging/difficult times. There will be a continuation of the poem in the coming Saturday because of time which was up and the need to move to the next session.

3. Art Session with Jogbeley (12:00 PM): As usual being the first Saturday of the month Jogbeley was in charge. With everyone fully involved, he leads us in a step by step guidance, creating a beautiful illusional image out of nothing.

4. Games (1:00 PM): A short break was provided for participants to grab a snack and recharge. Each participant was given a bottle of the local beverage(Asana) with biscuits.

5. Continuation of Art Session (2:00 PM): It was interesting and entertaining as every participant was curious from the start, on what exactly we doing but it turn out to be a beautiful image created out of nothing.
Everyone was filled with surprise and joy.
Materials used in creating the arts are A4 sheets, crayons, pencils, markers, charcoal, brushes, and the human finger. Yes the human finger.

6. Socialization: We ended days activities with everyone relaxed in engagements with each other. Chatting, laughing, taking pictures and being happy.

Conclusion
The Saturday Reading and Fun Club was a resounding success, with an overall attendance of 15 participants. The event promoted creativity, socialization, and community engagement, achieving its objectives. Feedback from participants was positive, and suggestions for future improvements were noted.
