Style Spotlight: Straight-Back Cornrows ✨

Looking for a neat, low-maintenance hairstyle that keeps your child’s hair protected and looking beautiful for days? This style right here is called “Straight-Back Cornrows” and in this case, I’ve done 9 perfectly sectioned braids for a clean, symmetrical look.

✅ What are Straight-Back Cornrows?
Cornrows are braids done close to the scalp in straight lines (or designs), and “straight-back” simply means they go from the hairline straight to the nape of the neck.

💡 Why parents love this style:
• Tidy and school-friendly
• Great for active kids: no daily styling needed
• Can last for days with proper care
• Scalp remains breathable, especially in hot weather

📏 Minimum hair length required:
I recommend at least 4 to 5 inches of natural hair for best results. This allows the braids to hold firmly without causing tension.

⚠️ Things to keep in mind:
• This style is not meant to last several weeks it’s a short-term protective style.
• Keep it dry and wrapping a satin scarf at night will help it last longer and protect the hair.
