Parenting feels hard because it is hard ❤️

Not because you are failing, not because you are doing it wrong, not because everyone else has some secret you missed.

We are raising humans while unlearning our own patterns. We are carrying mental load, emotional labour, invisible responsibility, and still expected to smile through it all.

So if you feel stretched, tired, reactive, or unsure, that does not mean you are weak.

It means you are fully in it.

Be kinder to yourself.

You are not meant to find this easy ❤️

My book comes out in two days.

And instead of spending late nights trying to chase numbers or make more noise,
I’m colouring with my daughter.

I’m keeping my boundaries.
I’m choosing presence over pressure.

Because this balance keeps me happy -
it allows me to enjoy the process
without resentment,
without exhaustion.

The world wasn’t built to see women succeed,
let alone mothers.

So we find our own way.
And this is mine -
being present. 🤍

POV: You’re pregnant in the middle of a global pandemic. The world feels unsafe, the future uncertain. You don’t know if you’ll survive long enough to meet your baby — so you write her a letter, a message of love and of truth, just in case.

I recorded these words for my daughter because I needed her to know why I was fighting. That even before she took her first breath, she was the reason I stood up for justice. I didn’t know if my voice would be silenced, but I needed her to grow up knowing that it mattered.

This video was born out of fear, but also out of hope — that our children might inherit a braver, fairer world. My book, out later this month, tells the story behind this moment in full: the fight, the heartbreak, the courage, and the love that carried me through.

This is where it all began ❤️
