Today is officially Nature Conservation Day, is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of protecting our planet's natural resources and ecosystems. It is a reminder that a healthy environment is vital for the well-being of all living things (including ourselves!). 🌱🌞🌸🌊🐝
Things you can do at home to help conserve nature:
♻️ Recycle and minimise disposable plastic usage e.g. carrier bags, water bottles, buying unnecessarily packages groceries
🚿💡Being conscious of water and electricity usage
🚗 Use the car less, especially for walkable distances! (Alternatively, car share, bike, or take public transport instead)
🐖 Eat less meat (which is also better for your health)
💻 Use energy-efficient appliances, where possible
🚢 Be conscious of where your online shopping is coming from and how it is made...
