THE COACH, THE PLAYERS, OR THE REFEREE: WHO TO BLAME?
After a long and a stressful night, I'm back to my level, positive energy.
Did you feel the referee was unfair?
Here I Go!
It's disappointing to see Real Madrid lose at home. Celta Vigo played solidly and capitalized on Madrid's mistakes. Williot Swedberg's two goals gave Celta a 2-0 lead.
Xabi Alonso was frustrated with the referee's performance, but his selection frustrated us, the fans more than the referee's performance.
The two red cards for Fran Garcia and Alvaro Carreras made it tough for Madrid, and has caused a great lapse to our next game where none of our full backs would be available.
The players didn't give their all while they were 11, only when Franc Garcia was sent off they decided to press and get control of the ball; which was too little too late.
Either they have to give their all or they have to lose all.
No matter how much we love them, they need to exercise restrain and be focused on the games they play.
Yes, it was not bad that they showed their emotions, but they should have considered the referee's power in the pitch.
The referee could even send a fan with their full freedom away without a word.
Endrick got a red card from the bench for excessive protest. It showed how intense the match was and how important emotional control is.
Endrick was off and got sent deeper off; from being on the bench to under the bench.
The referee was a focal point. Some controversial decisions, like not giving a penalty to Madrid, left fans and the coach unhappy. But Celta Vigo played a great game.
Who's to blame?
Everyone's involved. Players need to stay calm, and referees need to be more accurate. Celta Vigo played exceptionally well that night!
We have to come back stronger, if we truly want to compete for the trophy.
Hala Madrid!
