Ebrima Sanneh restored parity for Zurich fc putting up an equalizer in the 57th minute in Jarra West District Late Seyfo Buwa Kinteh Memorial Nawettan Tournament at Soma mini stadium against Soma Sitaba Fc. Sulayman Dampha put Soma Sitaba infront in the 18th minute with a stunning goal.

The Gambia U17 coach and team today conducted scouting exercise for U17 players in Lower River Region. The exercise brought together over one hundred and twenty (120) young talented footballers.

The team of scouts headed by coach Yaya Manneh were able to make a selection of players from the region that will be further screened for the U17 and U15 categories.

The Regional Football Association of LRR and the Regional head coach Ensa Darboe wished to thank all clubs and academies for sending players from all parts of the region for a successful trails.

Kiang East District Summer Nawettan Football Tournament kicked off today with Young Stars registering a 1-0 victory over Kollior Fc in the opening game.

Buba K Sanneh Scored the only goal netting a brilliant goal in the 5th minute. Young Stars Fc missed a great opportunity in the dying minutes when they squandered a penalty that could have increased their advantage.

Soma Sitaba fc suffered a 2-1 defeat to Toniataba Fc in the ongoing Jarra West District Late Seyfo Buwa Kinteh Memorial Nawettan Tournament at Soma Mini Stadium.

Toniataba Fc took the lead lately in the second half when Ebrima Sanneh fired home a smashing left footed shot. Minutes later Sitaba’s new entrance Kebba Drammeh leveled the scoreline at the struck of 90 minutes with a towering header but Buba Fatty stole the day with a late goal for Toniataba in the 90+2 minutes to give his side maximum three points.

Soma Sitaba Fc lost their first game to Dibba Oil fc before losing today’s game and missed possible six points in the competition.

Zurich fc held resurgence Dibba oil Fc to a one all draw in the Jarra West District Late Seyfo Buwa Kinteh Memorial Nawettan Tournament at Soma mini stadium.

The oil boys opened the scoring in just two minutes of play through Seyfo Fofana but Ebrima Sanneh restored parity for Zurich a minute before lemon time.

Dibba oil collected four points after playing two games while Zurich are with a point after their first game.
