Driver Hospitalized After Crashing into Roadworks on Napa Napa Road PORT MORESBY, NCD – A man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a dramatic single-vehicle accident in the early hours of this morning on Napa Napa Road.The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 AM. The driver, believed to be under the influence of alcohol, was reportedly traveling at high speed towards Papa Lealea when his vehicle collided with a large pile of gravel.The gravel was part of an ongoing road construction project managed by Tura Construction, which had commenced work on Thursday and Friday. The section of the road, located in front of the Hi-Lift Company and Express Freight Management (EFM) premises, was being prepared for concreting.The vehicle at the scene of the accident this morning. He was subsequently transported to the hospital for medical attention. Authorities have noted that it was fortunate he was not carrying any passengers at the time of the high-speed crash.
