*EQUIPPED AND ENDUED WITH DIVINE ABILITY*

_*But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).*_

PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

There’s a difference between the Holy Spirit coming upon you and the Holy Spirit dwelling in you. From the day of Pentecost in Acts chapter 2, the reason for the Holy Spirit coming upon anyone was to take up residence within them. And that’s what has happened with us. In the Old Testament, He came upon people to enable them to fulfil a specific purpose for a particular time.

Various individuals experienced this, including Elizabeth, upon whom the Holy Spirit came and she was filled with the Holy Ghost: *"And it came to pass, that when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost"* (Luke 1:41). The Holy Spirit also came upon Samson, empowering him to accomplish mighty feats, but he was not filled with the Holy Ghost: *"And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand..."* (Judges 14:6).

Now, as one who has received the Holy Spirit, you have been endowed with power to accomplish extraordinary things. The Bible declares, *"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you..."* (Acts 1:8). The word "power" here is from the Greek “dunamis,” meaning the dynamic ability to cause changes.

Consider the significance of this: God says you have received the ability to effect changes. Why then should you remain in an undesirable situation, crying and pleading with God to intervene about things you can change? So, go ahead and effect a change.

After receiving the Holy Spirit, the apostles lived in the reality of His indwelling presence. Each one of them operated in the supernatural. That’s the same life He’s given you. Being filled with the Holy Spirit, you’ve been endued and equipped with divine ability to effect changes and walk in the supernatural every day.

*PRAYER*

_*Dear Father, thank you for filling me with the Holy Spirit and empowering me with divine ability to effect changes in my world. I walk in the consciousness of your indwelling presence, manifesting your wisdom, power and glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*_

✨FILLED WITH THE TOTALITY OF THE DIVINE ESSENCE✨

📖 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19).

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD

To be filled with the fullness of God means to be filled with the totality of the divine essence, His very being. Colossians 1:27 says, “...Christ in you, the hope of glory”; this is what it means. It leaves no room for ambiguity; we’re replete with God. We’re associates of the God-kind, not when we get to heaven but here and now in the earth, in this life.

Imagine being so full of God—His power, wisdom, and glory—that fear has no place in you. This is why we, as Christians, are bold. We cannot accommodate fear because we are loaded with the fullness of God. The Greek word for filled is “Pleroo”, and it means the full or maximum load. That means we’re completely saturated with the maximum load of God.

Jesus exemplified this. He declared, “...as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself” (John 5:26). Jesus was the divine essence, filled with God. God’s plan is for the Church to reach this same level of understanding and expression. We, as the Body of Christ, must attain this consciousness, walking in the fullness of God. The Lord will rapture the Church in this mature state. We’ll depart this world in a consciousness of divine connection.

This is not about an escape from the world due to fear or despair but about a victorious departure, having exercised the powers of heaven on earth. The Lord is coming for a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle, one that has fully embraced and is demonstrating His divine life.

So, rise to this understanding and live with this consciousness. God is waiting for us to demonstrate what He has accomplished in us through Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

🗣 CONFESSION

I’m filled with the fullness of God, with the totality of His divine essence, His very being. Christ in me is the hope of glory; I’m full of His power, wisdom and glory, and I walk in the consciousness of this truth. I live victoriously, fulfilling God’s purpose for my life. Amen.

✨HIS ULTIMATE PURPOSE✨

📖 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one (John 17:22)

👤 PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD.

When God made man, He wasn’t satisfied with man just looking like Him or functioning like Him. That was only the beginning. His ultimate goal was oneness with man. He created us to live in us and be inseparably one with us. The Lord Jesus said, “I am in the Father, and the Father is in me” (John 14:11). God has done the same with us and for us. This was His dream from the beginning.

Colossians 1:26-27 says, “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” 1 Corinthians 6:17 says, “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” This is more than a mere resemblance with the Lord. It’s like When Jesus said, “...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father...” (John 14:9), it was much more than just resemblance or functionality; it was a revelation of oneness.

God wasn’t just seeking a house to dwell in; His ultimate purpose is to reveal His glory through you to the nations. When the Bible speaks of nations, it doesn’t only refer to countries; rather, it signifies people who are connected by shared interests or characteristics. The Greek word is “ethnos”—a group of people with common interests or ideologies.

Recognize yourself as inseparably one with God, sent by Him to reveal His glory to your world. Wherever you are right now, reveal His glory in that place. This is your calling. You’re a God-carrier, the effulgence of His glory. And because His glory is in you, you can manifest it and impact your world with it. Hallelujah!

🗣️ PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for making me a carrier of your glory to the nations. I function in my calling with wisdom, excellence and grace, influencing and transforming my world for your glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

📚 FURTHER STUDY:

Isaiah 60:1-3, Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

2 Corinthians 6:16; And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

1 Peter 2:9 AMPC; But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own [a]purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

✨YOUR WORDS CARRY LIFE✨

📖 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light (Genesis 1:3).

👤 PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD.

Every time you speak, life emits from your words. Your words carry life. It’s the reason you must never talk to promote the problems and difficulties you’re facing; declare your victories. Have the right words in your mouth. Don’t speak on the basis of your situation; rather, speak in agreement with God (Hebrews 13:5-6).

Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that you shall have what you say. It was God Himself who gave us that precedence; He spoke creation into being in Genesis chapter 1. It reveals that not only do words contain energy, they carry life. Now you can understand what Jesus said in John 6:63, “…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” Remember that as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17); so like Him, the words that you speak, they are spirit and they are life. Hallelujah!

Everything in life has been programmed by God to respond to words, for they were all created by words. In Numbers 20:8, for example, God instructed Moses to speak to the rock: “…speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.”

God told Moses to talk to the rock because the rock had life, with intelligence and memory. If creation came about by reason of words spoken by God, it means that there are sound codes embedded in every particle, matter or object; therefore, they can all respond to the sound codes we release through our words. So use the right sound codes—the right words—to create the life that you desire. Transform your life from glory to glory with words. Hallelujah!

🗣️ CONFESSION

My life is for the glory of God. Divine wisdom is heard in my words and seen in my actions. The Word of God prevails in my life and catapults me to greater levels of success, victory and prosperity. I walk in divine health and dwell continually in peace and safety, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Hebrews 4:12, For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 13:5-6; [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Mark 11:23; For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

✨HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS FULFILLED IN US✨

__**📖 ...And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit (Romans 8:3-4 NIV).**__

👤 PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD.

Moses had a revelation of God’s righteousness through the Law. His perspective as expressed in some portions of the book of Deuteronomy is profound.

No wonder he marvelled at how extraordinary and unique the law was, declaring it unparalleled among the nations: "And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?" (Deuteronomy 4:8). In Deuteronomy 6:25, Moses’ heart was moved by the beauty of the Law. He did not see it as a burden of rules to obey but as a reflection of God's wonderful righteousness. He told the people that observing the commandments would be their righteousness: "And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us."

Later, in Deuteronomy 32:46-47, Moses further emphasized this truth: "...Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it." He treasured the law as life itself and urged the people to act accordingly.

The New Testament reveals a similar perspective. In Romans 8:3-4, we see the fulfilment of this righteousness through Christ. The righteousness of the Law, which Moses regarded as glorious and beautiful, has now been fulfilled in us who walk after the Spirit. God’s righteousness is expressed through us. As ambassadors of the Kingdom, we extend His righteousness, peace, and joy to the nations. Wherever you go, when you arrive, righteousness arrives. When you step into a place, peace comes with you. When you are present, joy is made manifest. This should shape your daily consciousness; you are an extension of the Kingdom of God to your world. Hallelujah!

🗣️ PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for revealing your righteousness through your Word, and fulfilling it in us through Christ. I walk after the Spirit, manifesting the life and glory of your Word to my world. Your Word is my life, and I treasure it above all. Thank you for making me a living expression of your righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY📖=>
2 Corinthians 3:7-10, But if the ministration of death, written [and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which [glory] was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation [be] glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

Galatians 3:24-25; Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster [to bring us] unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

2 Corinthians 5:21; For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

✨STAY IN THE WORD✨

__**📖 Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying, It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments... (1 Samuel 15:10-11).**__

👤 PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME Dsc. Dsc. DD.

Anyone can be suddenly transformed by the Spirit of God, and we’ve seen this happen many times, even in Bible days. But you have to stay rooted in the Word, established and founded in faith, as that’s the only way to sustain such transformation.

In 1 Samuel 10, for example, we read the account of Saul, the son of Kish, who was gloriously transformed by the Spirit of God and began to prophesy. The Bible says Saul was turned into another man. Read the words of the Prophet Samuel to him in 1 Samuel 10:6, "And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man."

When Saul turned to leave Samuel, God gave him another heart, and he began to prophesy among the prophets. This marked the beginning of Saul's reign as king of Israel. Can you imagine a man receiving another heart instantly by the power of the Holy Spirit? However, in 1 Samuel 15, just five chapters later, God spoke to Samuel and said, “It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night" (1 Samuel 15:11).

In 1 Chronicles 10:13-14, we learn that Saul died for his transgressions, particularly for not keeping the word of the Lord and for consulting a familiar spirit instead of seeking God. Even though Saul had such a great, miraculous transformation in his life, he didn’t sustain it because he didn’t keep the Word of the Lord.

So, be wise; sustain the work, the transformations that the Holy Spirit brings to your life, by staying focused on the Word. Be a doer of the Word. James 1:22 says, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” Whatever God does in your life is meant to stay and grow into greater glories, but that will only happen if you stay in the Word of God.

🗣️ PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the transformative power of your Word and the Spirit in my life. I commit to following you in, through, and by the Word. I stay rooted in your Word, established and founded in faith, steadfast, resolute, unshakeable, and unmoveable, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY📖=>
James 1:22-25, But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Colossians 3:16; Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Psalm 119:11; Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
