The Pisa-class armored cruiser HS Georgios Averof (built 1907, launched 1910) and the trireme Olympias welcome HS Kimon, the first FDI frigate of the Hellenic .

3,000 years of Hellenic naval history at sea.

You may see the FDI frigate KIMON called “Belharra” in many of the Greek media, but the Navy avoids the term. Officially, the class is FDI HN and the first frigate is KIMON (three more FDI-class frigates will join the Hellenic Navy). And here is my question - Is Belharra “the name assigned to the export version?”, as per an article on , Oct. 14, 2019.

🎬 Το νέο μου ντοκιμαντέρ, «Ίος: Μεταξύ Τουρισμού και Καθημερινότητας», είναι πλέον διαθέσιμο στο You Tube.

Μια πρωτοβουλία που γεννήθηκε από την ανάγκη να κοιτάξουμε πέρα από τη θερινή εικόνα των νησιών.

Η τουριστική ανάπτυξη φέρνει ζωή και έσοδα αλλά γεννά ερωτήματα για τα όριά της. Το ντοκιμαντέρ καταγράφει αυτήν τη λεπτή συνύπαρξη ανάμεσα στον τουρισμό και την καθημερινότητα, μια πραγματικότητα κοινή σε πολλά νησιά των Κυκλάδων.

The first Greek FDI HN frigate - HS Kimon - is being formally handed over and commissioned at the Lorient shipyard in France. Today’s Greek flag raising ceremony marks the frigate’s official introduction to the Hellenic Navy fleet.

All three FDI HN frigates (HS Kimon, HS Nearchos, HS Formion) are being built at Naval Group’s shipyard in Lorient, France.

Μια ιδιαίτερα ενδιαφέρουσα και ουσιαστική συζήτηση για τη σχέση ανάμεσα στις πυρκαγιές και την παραπληροφόρηση μαζί με τον Νίκο Ευσταθίου, την Στέλλα Γκίρτσου και τον Ηλία Τζηρίτη.

Οι πυρκαγιές αποτελούν ένα φαινόμενο που, κάθε χρόνο, αποδεικνύεται εξαιρετικά ευάλωτο στη διασπορά ψευδών ειδήσεων και αυτό δεν είναι καθόλου τυχαίο. Τα πιθανά αίτια εκδήλωσής τους, η διάρκειά τους, αλλά και ο χρόνος στον οποίο συνήθως ξεσπούν, δημιουργούν το ιδανικό περιβάλλον για την ανάπτυξη παρανοήσεων, υπεραπλουστεύσεων και θεωριών συνωμοσίας. Αυτοί είναι κάποιοι από τους παράγοντες που συμβάλλουν στη γρήγορη διάδοση παραπληροφόρησης, επηρεάζοντας τον δημόσιο διάλογο και δυσκολεύοντας την κατανόηση του πραγματικού - κοινωνικού - φαινομένου.
