AGARTHA join No Remorse Records; Debut EP "The Hidden" to be released on October 3.

AGARTHA is a heavy metal band formed in 2019 by multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Berry (guitars and drums) and vocalist Ryan Evans. United by a passion for the spirit of classic metal and a vision for pushing its boundaries, the band channels an epic, melodic sound that honors tradition while weaving in modern and unexpected influences. With roots in traditional heavy metal, AGARTHA draws inspiration from a broad range of styles across the genres vast landscape - from the grandeur of NWOBHM to the raw intensity of underground acts. Their music captures the soaring energy of metal's golden era while embracing a dynamic, personal approach to songwriting and composition.

In 2020, AGARTHA self released their debut demo, a powerful introduction to their sound that resonated with fans of true heavy metal. The release gained further traction with a limited edition 7" vinyl pressing in 2022, solidifying their presence in the metal underground and drawing attention from collectors and purists alike. AGARTHA's music is driven by a sense of scale, drama, and melody - epic in scope but grounded in raw emotion and tight musicianship. With an uncompromising passion and a deep reverence for the genre's roots, AGARTHA continues to carve their own path in the heavy metal world.

On October 3, No Remorse Records will release the band's first EP, "The Hidden". Mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk (ETERNAL CHAMPION, SUMERLANDS, BLOOD INCANTATION, KING DIAMOND), "The Hidden" will bring a fresh and passionate air to the underground metal scene.

About the single "Sirens of Death" (by Victor Gustavo Acosta):

When it comes to songwriting, our vocalist Mike Stark begins with vivid imagery, representing scenes and moments from his imagination that he later translates into lyrics.

From this creative process, the song "Sirens of Death" was born. It tells the story of a group of young sailors on an epic journey in search of fortune and fame, unaware that they would encounter alluring Sirens at sea. This narrative weaves tales of false promises and hidden dangers, allowing listeners to uncover different thoughts and meanings. Music and art resonate uniquely with each individual, so we invite you to close your eyes, embark on this journey with us, and let it transport you to a realm of your choosing.

Originally written by Thilo Herrmann, we collaborated closely with David Shankle to refine the song's structure and shape the vocals for Mike. Diana Boncheva contributed a beautiful violin section that adds a hypnotic quality, capturing the sense of temptation we, as humans, often face.

Additionally, we created a music video for this song, filmed in Germany, Argentina, and South Korea, where we appear as sailors and Sirens, further bringing the theme to life.
