You’ve already tried the discipline route.
Wake up earlier. Block the time. Delete the apps. One hour a day, no matter what. Put a counter on the wall and don’t break the chain.

And it works. For about eleven days.

Then a session goes badly, or a release lands in silence, or you open the project and nothing sounds the way it did in your head. The whole structure collapses in a single evening. You don’t decide to quit. You just stop opening the folder.

Discipline was never the missing piece. Discipline is force applied on top of a system. If the system underneath is producing a reliable shutdown, force only delays it.
