Italy-based computer metal project MASTER BOOT RECORD (MBR) will return to US and Canadian shores this coming Spring for an extensive North American headlining tour after completing their very successful European tour with labelmates IGORRR plus openers IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT! The group’s North American journey begins on April 24th in Cambridge, Massachusetts and runs through May 30th in Brooklyn, New York.

MASTER BOOT RECORD outputs:
Computer Metal strikes back in North America with a full coast-to-coast tour. We’ll return to many of the cities we’ve played before, while finally hitting several cities for the first time.
The show will feature brand-new synced visuals and a full set, including Tenebre Rosso Sangue by Keygen Church, as already performed during our European tour supporting Igorrr.

W.E.B.‘s music has earned high praise for its “drama, extremity and bloodthirst in equal parts…energetic and unhinged.” The formidable symphonic extreme metal lineup is best experienced at one of their many crushing live gigs. Enter Darkness Alive, their first-ever live album, recorded in the quartet’s hometown of Athens on September 22nd, 2024.
“We shared the stage that night with Dark Funeral, and since we were making changes within the band, that had us excited. We made the decision to mark this day with a special release, hence our first official live album,”says vocalist/guitarist Sakis Prekas.
Choosing the nine songs for Darkness Alive was simple. “We can tell almost immediately which songs work for a concert and we always keep the audience in mind,” Prekas explains. “We want the people who come to see W.E.B.

True to the spirit of black metal, Roman V. started BIZARREKULT as a lone wolf. Moving to the genre’s birthplace in Norway twenty odd years ago inspired him to bend but not break with tradition. Bizarrekult’s previous albums reflected on his childhood and changing place within the larger world, all while honing a grim yet luminar vision for the future. His upcoming third album also emerged from a deep personal crisis. Only this time, on Alt Som Finnes, he’s not alone in confronting all there is.
Today, Bizarrekult is announcing Alt Som Finnes by premiering the frighteningly tense video for the album’s lead single with No Clean Singing. While “Blikket Hennes” is tormented by never-ending self-doubt, Dødheimsgard vocalist Yusaf “Vicotnik” Parvez leads Roman out of its mental labyrinth – if only for a moment.

PONTE DEL DIAVOLO present “Il Veleno della Natura,” the second single from their forthcoming full-length De Venom Natura. As one of the record’s central invocations, the track distills the album’s core theme: nature as a source of both creation and corruption, where poison becomes a vital force rather than a threat.
“De Venom Natura” evolves the band’s blackened post-punk identity into a deeper, more complex form, expanding the dual-bass structures and raw live recording approach that define the album’s sonic landscape.
“Il Veleno della Natura” embodies the band’s alchemical fusion of doom, black metal, post-punk, and wave. Intertwining basslines set a grainy, visceral foundation, while shimmering guitars and ritualistic percussion unfold in rising tension. For three decades, Theodor Bastard have bridged the traditions of the old world with the new. Now, five years removed from their last full-length journey, the Karelian pioneers of electro-folk are beginning a new venture that reconnects with their earliest roots.
Today, Theodor Bastard are releasing their first single in five years. While written specifically for the award-winning Russian crime drama The Method, “Nebo” offers an initial glimpse at the band’s upcoming ninth studio album. Yana Veva’s vocals continue to twirl with the fragility of snow, but the way the song’s beat rolls like smog recalls their early electronic experiments with World Music.

Like a mushroom cloud, Mass Extinction arose from the immediate aftermath of their previous album Apocalypse. All six off-the-rails tracks were laid down during the same recording sessions before getting mixed at Rain City Recorders and later mastered by Brad Boatright.But Rotten Sound’s new EP is no half-life mutation. BENIGHTED return with The Spineless Freak, a standalone single carved from the same violent psychological terrain that defines their Ekbom era, but created with one intent: to reveal the band’s new drummer, Matthias Biechler, in full destructive force. The track serves as both an introduction and a declaration, documenting the moment a 22 year old multi-instrumentalist stepped into Benighted’s world and reshaped its velocity from within.
Though known as a bassist, Matthias spent the past four years cultivating a drumming discipline shaped by the mentorship of Eugene Ryabchenko (Fleshgod Apocalypse). His first ever performance as a drummer took place onstage with Benighted, where he ripped through the band’s fastest material with an ease that stunned both audience and members alike. His arrival crystallizes a new level of intensity within the band, aligning seamlessly with the suffocating psychological horror and clinical brutality at the core of their sound.

The full-album stream of Windswept’s The Devil’s Vertep is now live on the Black Metal Promotion YouTube channel, arriving ahead of its official release tomorrow, Friday December 12.

Inspired by The Black Book of Kremenets Castle 1747–1777, the album retraces the witch trials that took place in Western Ukraine between 1753 and 1754. Across six compositions, Windswept shape these testimonies, forced confessions, and final judgments into a raw, atmospheric narrative driven by instinct and stark musical intensity.

Windswept’s return follows a lineage defined by spontaneity and uncompromising focus.
