They have also paid off the woman to drop the case. UPDATED: FORMER LETHEM MAYOR, BUS DRIVER ALSO PART OF AZRUDDIN MOHAMED'S LETHEM VOTE-BUYING SCHEME

Former Mayor Carlton Beckles and Carl Harris, aka Kunta are also part of Azruddin Mohamed's illegal vote-buying scheme at Lethem, Region 9. Beckles and Kunta have been going around, taking down the names of potential voters, offering the same deal as JAGS. The three are working together to buy votes and backers' signatures for Mohamed.
Persons from Lethem are being encouraged to visit Jags Bar, where their information will be taken down in a book and they will be given an advance payment of $10,000.
After completing this step, they are then told that they will be contacted on voting day, and after providing video and picture evidence that they voted for Mohamed, they will uplift a further $25,000 at the same location.

Today, Stabroek News carried a story in which social media extortionist Melissa Atwell Holder is made out to be a victim. However, a few hours before SN’s publication, Atwell Holder was on a live stream with another Facebook personality speaking disparagingly about a female with whom she had issues.
The point we are making in highlighting this is that Atwell Holder is not the victim she is made out to be. She has been using her platform to attack prominent persons in Guyana, and in many instances, she extorted large sums of money from them using third parties who act as emissaries. But this publication by Stabroek News at this time is geared towards helping her US immigration case. They are painting her as being persecuted by the state in Guyana to help stop the authorities from taking removal action against her. Atwell Holder also deactivated her Facebook account to hide the nasty stuff she has been carrying on with from the US authorities.

George Nicholson, aka Jags, owner of Jags Bar in Lethem, is operating an illegal vote-buying operation at his business place on behalf of Azruddin Mohamed.
During Mohamed's meetings in the area persons are encouraged to visit Jags Bar where their information will be taken down in a book and they will be given an advance payment of $10,000.
