The Observatory will issue the Standby Signal, No. 1 at 12:20 p.m. today（4 Jul). According to the present forecast, the circulation of the tropical depression will be relatively small. It will be slow-moving and maintain a distance of over 400 kilometres from Hong Kong for the rest of today. The Standby Signal, No. 1 will remain in force for most of today. The tropical cyclone is expected to intensify gradually.

Per Hong Kong Observatory announced, the Strong Wind Signal, No. 3 will remain in force at least until noon tomorrow (15 Jun 2025). Unless Wutip maintains a higher intensity over inland areas and adopts a track closer to the Pearl River Estuary, the chance of issuing the Signal No. 8 is rather low.
