Curated and produced by videoclub (UK) and Dr. Isaac Leung (HK), Both Sides Now 10 presents a dynamic compilation of artists’ film and video works from the UK and Hong Kong. This milestone 10th edition reflects on a decade of creative and cultural exchange, showcasing works that explore identity, heritage, queerness, speculative futures, and digital storytelling.

With bold aesthetics and experimental approaches, the programme captures the diversity and complexity of our times, while remaining accessible, thought-provoking, and visually compelling. From poetic reflections on digital identity to insightful examinations of power and national symbolism, Both Sides Now 10 offers audiences the opportunity to experience a rich spectrum of moving image practices.

“The 1960s For Me” is exhibited at Worth Ryder Art Gallery, Department of Art Practice, UC Berkeley, USA, until 30 September, and it will be screened in Brighton, Sheffield and London, UK.

【Description】”Hush．Rush” was an immersive multimedia exhibition situated in a historic yacht club building opened in 1908 and it is now an exhibition space of the Oil Street Art Space. The exhibition was to recollect people’s memory and also let people know about this place’s history, heritage, as well as the previous natural environment of the place where the building was on the waterfront but now far away from the waterfront with reclamation in front of it. The exhibition also depicted the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong as a modern city at the same time. This represented Hong Kong nowadays, urban areas are still surrounded by large areas of countryside.

【作品介紹】《HUSH．RUSH 謐．衝》是⼀場沉浸式多媒體展覽，選址於1908年建成的歷史遊艇會建築——現為油街藝術空間的展覽場地。展覽通過喚醒城市記憶，帶領觀眾穿越時空：這座曾臨⽔⽽⽴的建築，因填海⼯程如今已遠離海岸線。展覽既追溯場所的百年歷史與⾃然⻛貌，⼜同步呈現⾹港作為現代都市的喧囂脈動，巧妙隱喻了⾹港當下城市與鄉野並存的獨特景觀——摩天⼤樓與⼴袤郊野僅⼀步之遙，形成現代與傳統、都市與⾃然的詩意對話。
