M+將於8月30日在學舍會堂舉行 「構想『廣東摩登』」講座，從策展與學術角度深入探討「廣東摩登：藝術與視覺文化，1900至1970年代」展覽。

講座邀請來自廣州的李公明教授及香港的彭麗君教授，與M+策展人彭綺雲和楊浚承，從藝術史、文化研究及區域史學的角度探討戰後廣東文化身份的轉變。

講座將以廣東話進行，並提供英文及普通話即時傳譯。

Join us for ‘The Making of “Canton Modern”’, a talk that explores our exhibition ‘Canton Modern: Art and Visual Culture, 1900s–1970s’ from a curatorial and academic perspective on 30 August at the Forum.

Hear from esteemed scholars Li Gongming and Pang Laikwan, alongside M+ curators Tina Pang and Alan Yeung, as they discuss the making of the exhibition. The conversation will explore the postwar transformation of Cantonese cultural identity from the perspectives of art history, cultural studies, and regional historiography.

The talk will be held in Cantonese, with simultaneous interpretation in English and Mandarin available.

Priority booking for M+ Members & Patrons opens on 2 August, with public registration starting on 4 August.
