Tasting Note: Fragrant with citrus aromatics on the nose. Sipped - crisp notes of lemons and tangerines. The sweet nuttiness of vanilla and tonka beans, finishing of mellow spices and roots.

Ingredients: 12 botanicals - 6 of which are of Asian origins, from Chinese tangerine peels to Madagascan vanilla pods, experience a light, citruses with floral berries, sweet nuts and mellow roots. Specially added with gold leaves.

Considering the profoundness of Chinese food and the excellent craftsmanship of Chinese cook, their way to create a beautiful duck dish is no less impressive than the French. Their significant duck dishes range from Peking duck , Nanjing p**a duck (crispy roast duck), Hangzhou duck soup, Guangdong roasted duck, Chaozhou marinated ducks and so on. The attractiveness of these exquisitely cooked duck has sprung up Cloudy Bay’s idea of pairing duck and Pinot Noir together, blending the art of Pinot Noir into Chinese dishes menu and bringing such fantastic creation to Hong Kong, the food heaven. Five top-class Chinese restaurants in town are chosen, where the skillful chefs has created various scrumptious duck dishes infused with traditional and innovative elements, weaving a delicious relationship full of surprises along with the adornment of Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir. This month we are glad to have Walter Kei and Nelson Siu, a famous food critic and wine expert respectively, to lead us through these five perfect combinations of duck and Pinot Noir.
