🖊️ 以筆畫心，以墨破界：認識香港漫畫鬼才——Man僧
The Heart of the Brush, The Spirit of the Ink: Meet Hong Kong’s Comic Virtuoso — Man Tsang

他，是來自香港的自學藝術家；他，是長洲島上長大的漫畫少年；他，是筆鋒如刀、畫意如詩的「Man僧」—— Man Tsang。生於香港，Man僧在堆滿漫畫的家中找到了畢生的熱情。他兒時精力充沛，永遠坐不定，卻能在畫畫世界裡不眠不休、廢寢忘食。時間改變了這個男孩，但他對繪畫的熱情從未褪色。

He is a self-taught artist from Hong Kong; he is the manga-obsessed boy who grew up on the island of Cheung Chau; he is Man Tsang, whose brushwork is as sharp as a blade and whose artistry is profoundly poetic. Born in Hong Kong, Tsang found his lifelong passion in a house full of comics. An energetic child who could never sit still, he discovered an unwavering focus in the world of art, often immersing himself in drawing through sleepless, meal-less nights and days. While time has changed the man, his passion for painting remains undimmed.

Animals of Madness: Crazy Animals on Paper

動物給人的印象是可愛和溫和，而許多畫作中也會凸顯牠們的這種特質。但Léo Forest卻選擇了另一種記錄方式，畫下各種充滿動感的動物。
Most of the time, animals give us an impression of being cute and tamed, and usually these characteristics are also reflected in drawings. However, Léo Forest did not follow the “tradition”, and drew down animals that are full of movements.

Imagine a robot arm, wielding a rubber squeegee, relentlessly shuffling a pool of viscous, dark red liquid. Dynamic typography floats across six screens, displaying love poems dedicated to blocked websites. Or, you can lose yourself in a fantastical online game world… This isn’t science fiction; this is the reality of Stay Connected: Navigating the Cloud at Tai Kwun Contemporary.

一個畫了幾十年的奇幻生物的法國人，恰好在香港畫廊新空間開幕時迎來人生半百。白石畫廊黃竹坑新址與法比安．維斯查爾的「50/50」展覽同步登場，這位「年度法國藝術家」的五十歲生日與畫廊新里程碰撞出雙重慶典。

A Frenchman who has been painting fantastical creatures for decades happens to reach his half-century milestone just as a Hong Kong gallery opens its new space. The new Wong Chuk Hang location of Whitestone Gallery launches simultaneously with Fabien Verschaere's '50/50' exhibition, creating a double celebration as this 'French Artist of the Year's' 50th birthday coincides with the gallery's new milestone.
