【Competition winner Rodolfo Barráez returns to conduct Hong Kong Sinfonietta 第二屆香港國際指揮大賽冠軍載譽回歸】
This November, 1st Prize and Orchestra Prize winner of the 2nd Hong Kong International Conducting Competition Rodolfo Barráez is returning to make his official début with Hong Kong Sinfonietta, conducting Rimsky-Korsakov's "Capriccio Espagnol" and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No 4, as well as joining hands with Japanese cellist Michiaki Ueno - 1st Prize winner of the 2021 Geneva International Music Competition - to present Lalo's Cello Concerto.

指揮巴拉斯（Rodolfo Barráez）於去年第二屆香港國際指揮大賽中勇奪冠軍及樂團大獎，亮眼表現令觀眾印象難忘，他亦獲邀與香港小交響樂團於11月30日（星期六）的音樂會中合作！是次香港首演，他將帶領樂團演奏林姆斯基-高沙可夫的《西班牙隨想曲》，以及柴可夫斯基的第四交響曲，並會與2021年日內瓦國際音樂大賽冠軍、日本大提琴家上野通明（Michiaki Ueno）攜手合作，演繹拉羅（Lalo）的大提琴協奏曲。

【2nd Prize Winner Yao-Yu Wu receives invitation from Hong Kong Sinfonietta】
Taiwanese conductor Yao-Yu Wu - winner of the 2nd Prize, Audience Prize (Live Audience) and Best Interpretation of the New Commissioned Work at the 2nd Hong Kong International Conducting Competition earlier this year - has been invited to return and conduct Hong Kong Sinfonietta in concert on 23 Sep (Sat), in a programme featuring Mendelssohn's Symphony No 5, "Reformation", the Asian première of Georg Friedrich Haas' "chants oubliés", and Dvořák's Violin Concerto with Korean violinist Jehye Lee.
