Dear friends,

Alvin and Zac are thrilled to be giving a duo recital on July 5th at RH Music Gallery!

Titled À L’Ombre du Son (In the Shadow of Sound), this program spotlights 20th-century French music, featuring works by Defaye, Bozza, Casterède, Jongen, Satie, Saint-Saëns, Gaubert, and Dutilleux. Throughout the 20th century, some composers looked to the past to revive pre-war French traditions, while others experimented with new sounds and infused their works with harmonies from other cultures. This program offers not only a glimpse into French music but also a reflection on humanity’s resilience over the last century.

This marks our second time giving a Duo Recital in Hong Kong, and it would be especially meaningful if you could join this very special occassion of ours and witness the culmination of countless hours of dedication and passion.

This recital would also not be possibly done without the kind support from RH Music Gallery, as well as Hong Kong Trombone Association.
