What is it about our patterns of behaviour although unhelpful is so difficult to step out of.

Haven't we all been there? Wanting to get out of a relationship, or start a business or develop a new habit and yet somehow the comfort of the old self is so attractive.

Mindset shifts although popular on social media may not necessarily be easy. So, if you have managed to make a tiny shift in your life kudos to you.

You know, life can get pretty hectic sometimes, right? When everything feels chaotic, it’s easy to forget how vital it is to feel safe emotionally. 💖 I’ve found that when I feel secure, I can truly be myself, connect with others, and just breathe a little easier.

What about you? Have you ever felt like you couldn’t express yourself? It’s tough!

Not much importance is given to how safe we will within ourselves. We go through life bulldozing over the silent requests that come from within.

Working hard when we need to rest, leaving a party when we feel uncomfortable in the company, allowing things that don't necessarily align with us. And with each of this we say 'NO' to ourselves. We send a message to us that we don't matter.

A question that I would like to leave you with is 'Why is living authentically so difficult?'

Imagine that your friend is drowning.

Here is what you can do to help:

*Throw a rope for them to hold on to.
* Put your hand out .

Here is what you shouldn't do.

*Jump in the water to try and save them.
*Teach them how to swim.
*Advise them.
*Judge them for being in a situation where they are drowning.
*Lecture them.

Except that your friend is not drowning but going through an emotionally difficult time.

How would you hold the space for them?
How would you let them know you are there for them?

For too long, society has pushed men to suppress their emotions and "tough it out." This has led to a silent epidemic of mental health issues that often go unnoticed.

It's time to change the narrative! By normalizing conversations around mental health and embracing vulnerability, we can create a supportive environment where men feel safe to share their struggles.

Let’s break down the stigma and encourage help-seeking behaviors. Remember, asking for help is a sign of strength! 💪

I am posting a question here. What is empowerment? What does it really mean to you? Do we believe that we are really empowered today? Are we hiding behind our screens and social flashiness (if that is even a word)?

When I refer to philosophical discussions I see real empowerment.
