We are looking for several CHIEF COOKS to be employed ashore in Algeria:
Contract duration: 4 weeks on /4 weeks off
• Wage: On rotation: €3,800/month / Off rotation: €2,000/month
Main Responsibilities:
• Lead, train, and supervise the kitchen team to ensure the preparation and service of 1,200 meals per day, 7 days a week, while ensuring quality, hygiene, and food safety.
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and ISO 22000 standards.
• Create and manage international menus suited to a multicultural workforce.
• Handle kitchen management tasks including procurement, inventory, cost control, and technical documentation.
• Enforce high hygiene standards and lead operations efficiently under demanding conditions.
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience as Head Chef
• Deep knowledge of international cuisine and large-scale food service operations.
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
•Experience in cost control, kitchen administration, and safety systems.
