SIGNAL is now live as the new editorial platform by Groove Protocol.

Focused on underground techno interviews directly from the scene, SIGNAL will feature conversations with producers, DJs, label owners and artists who actively contribute to the culture around them.

This is not another promotional feed. The focus is on real work, artistic identity, experience and ideas — giving a platform to voices that deserve to be heard beyond algorithms, trends and surface-level hype.

Strmac Open Air vraća elektroničku glazbu tamo gdje dobiva potpuno drukčiju snagu: među šumu, otvoreno nebo i ljude okupljene zbog zajedničkog iskustva.

U organizaciji Udruge Nota Energije, Strmac nije zamišljen samo kao još jedan party, nego kao cjelodnevno okupljanje u prirodi povezano glazbom, umjetnošću i zajednicom. Program započinje tijekom dana, uz druženje, kampiranje, vatru i izložbu fotografija Tome Egredžije, čiji radovi bilježe prirodu, ljude i trenutke koji često ostaju neprimijećeni.

Kako pada večer, Strmac prelazi u svoj puni elektronički intenzitet. Kroz pažljivo odabran lineup izmjenjivat će se različiti pravci techna, od dubokog i hipnotičnog groovea do čvršće, energičnije i beskompromisne završnice.

SIGNAL 001 IS NOW LIVE.

Few artists in contemporary techno can match the discipline, consistency and sheer body of work behind maraxe73.

The Swedish producer, DJ and founder of STØK Recordings has released more than 750 tracks since 2020, established himself among the best-selling names in hard techno and built a catalogue spanning labels including Tronic, Planet Rhythm, Soma, Hydraulix, Naked Lunch and Suara.

But numbers alone do not explain MarAxe.

Behind the relentless output is a producer with a precise philosophy: limit the tools, trust the instinct, begin with the groove and build an identity strong enough to outlive the trend surrounding it.

In SIGNAL 001, MarAxe speaks openly about creative control, studio discipline, the sound and purpose of STØK Recordings, the decline of authenticity and the responsibility to protect the heart and soul of techno.

Signal 001: First Transmission

The first edition of Signal opens Groove Protocol’s new editorial channel: a monthly space for releases, artists, labels and scene movements that deserve more than a passing post.

This transmission focuses on MarAxe’s Centum EP for STØK Recordings, the Ayahuasca Remixes by Eddie Santini and Alex Calver, and RE:CODE’s debut compilation Framework 01. It also puts Albert Einsekt, K8LR, Acheron, CODE-13 and FL3X Techno in focus, alongside labels currently moving through the wider Signal radar.
