Hey all,

As you might have noticed, I stopped posting some time ago. However, this project is not dead, I just needed a break to find out how to fit it into my limited time. I’m also starting a new band (not in the dark ambient genre) which means that I’m focusing on some more ‘traditional’, guitar-oriented music.

So I’m in the process of rearranging things in my life with the intention to finally have the time again to write new posts with more recommendations. But the pace of writing has to be sustainable in the long run. I hope I can solve this problem soon and get back to regular posting.

I have been living with Gabriele’s latest release, The Journey to Reach the Fathers, since December. It has been a much-needed anchor for my troubled mind lately. This is more than an album; it is a ritualistic passage through sorrow, anxiety, and eventual transformation.

Just realized that when I started the website, I gave the weekly posts a title based on the week number – looks like I didn't even think that it would last so long! :) I did some housekeeping, renaming the posts and redirecting from the old URLs. Let me know if I broke some of the links. I'll be back soon with a new post and some surprises as well.
