A Candide idén januárban tört be a köztudatba, amikor kiderült, hogy a Médiatanács a sorozat több jelenetével nem volt kibékülve, így többek közt egy keresztre feszítést, egy Szűz Mária-tetkós maffiózót és a kisvasúton utazó Kim Dzsongunt is ki kellett vágni a műből.
