Flashback to a magical night camping by a lake in Bali.

Found these old photos from some years back, I think 6 years ago, from a fun little trip in the mountains of Bali. There are 3 lakes close to each other and the furthest, as well as the smallest, lake has this beautiful temple lakeside where there is open area that is perfect to picnic, hangout, and camp. We bought wood on the way, made smores over the fire, gazed at the stars and talked all night long. Magical

Some days you just need to take the whole day and do nothing but enjoy each other’s company. Just chat, talk about everything and anything, laugh, hug, kiss, play around, overall just truly be present. Healthy relationships need this kind of quality time. We always make sure to find time to put the phones away, make the distractions go away, and give total attention to each other. This has definitely helped keep our relationship healthy, our love strong, our communication working well, and our hearts full.

The world has felt a bit heavy recently. It’s ok to admit it. Life can be hard. The world can be unfair. Things can be sad. That is life. Feel it, let it wash over over you, find happiness wherever you can, and move forward. Little moments of joy can make up a large part of your life if you let them. For us, little frequent staycations around the island (this time at a cute little jungle villa in Ubud) allow us a moment to breathe and refresh our spirit, to really enjoy each other’s company and forget about the world for a moment.

If life is hard for you right now, we wish you the best. Know hard times can’t last. ❤️ If life is good for you right now, appreciate it. The good times don’t last forever either. The hard times make you appreciate the good ones, so even the negative can be seen as a positive.

Just wanted to share the most amazing video intro made by my talented wife. This was for our old social media account and it never ended up being made into a full video but this intro is friggen awesome and I love to brag about my wife.

This was before the new apps and ai made edits like this easy to do.

We spent a couple weeks exploring the Bolaven Plateau back in 2021. There is a loop you can do known for having a ton of waterfalls. Was a really fun motorbike trip.

Drone shot a little hazy in parts. I was still learning at the time and the drone quality isn’t where it is today but these shots still turned out pretty.

We are almost always together 24/7 but in those short moments we are not, I miss you right away. Am I clingy, am I needy, or are you just such a big part of my life that when you are gone, a part of me is missing? I think the answer is obvious.

Flashback to our US trip in 2023 and my lovely wife’s first time in a kayak.

We went camping at a lake a few hours from my hometown and enjoyed boating, tubing, water skiing, and of course kayaking.

Typical summer activities in the US. So much fun.

Can’t wait til the next visit. 2027 maybe
