Our Princess of Wales, as Patron of Action for Children (a charity that protects and supports vulnerable children and young people), visited the women’s prison HMP Styal in Cheshire to see the charity’s Mother and Baby Unit today! Her visit was to highlight the importance of strong, loving and consistent mother and baby relationships to a child’s development in the most challenging of environments. 👑👶🏻 this is such a lovely surprise! And what an important engagement too! I love that she also focus on the kids of prisoners.. I’m sure they appreciate her attention 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️

Visit to the RAF base in Cambridgeshire
On the 14th of February 2017, Catherine visited a RAF base in Cambridgeshire where the Cadets were taking part in a half-term skills development course. Remember the Princess is patron of the Air Cadets.
During the visit, Catherine not only spoke with some of the cadets, but also joined them in some training exercises, even going into a plane.

Today, The Princess of Wales, as Patron of Rugby Football League, participated in Rugby League Inclusivity Day in Hull 🏉
The Rugby Football League (RFL), founded in 1895, is the national governing body for professional rugby league in England. It administers the England national rugby league team, the Challenge Cup, Super League and the Rugby League Championships. Rugby League Inclusivity Day highlights the significant value and impact of Disability Rugby League on its participants, their families and local communities, and shines a spotlight on the power of sport to tackle inequalities, and support and develop individuals regardless of their circumstances or background 🏉
During the visit, The Princess tried her hand at wheelchair rugby and joined a training session facilitated by members of the world cup-winning England Wheelchair Rugby League squad who were crowned World Champions last November. The Princess hosted a reception in their honor back in January. Her Royal Highness also learned more about Physical Disability Rugby League (PDRL), a full contact version of rugby adapted for players with physical disabilities, and Learning Disability Rugby League (LDRL), a non-competitive version of the game specifically adapted for those with learning disabilities. The Princess joined a session on ball skills and drills with members of both PDRL and LDRL alongside students from Hull FC’s Centre for Excellence, which provides a holistic program for 16-18-year-olds who are interested in physical activity and working in sport 🏉
For this sporty engagement, The Princess wore a new polo shirt and track pant ensemble from OXEN Sports with the Rugby Football League logo. Her Royal Highness also brought back her white Lululemon workout shoes and her gold Spells of Love Medium Twist Hoops 💙
