Jenis APAR Berdasarkan Kelas Kebakaran yang Diproteksi

Alat pemadam kebakaran terdiri dari beberapa jenis berdasarkan kelas kebakaran yang diproteksi. Ada 5 kelas kebakaran yaitu kebakaran kelas A, B, C, D dan K. Ke 5 jenis kebakaran tersebut dibedakan berdasarkan penyebab atau bahan yang terbakar.
Jenis APAR kelas A B C D K dan fungsinya adalah sebagai berikut.

1. APAR Kelas A
Kebakaran kelas A adalah jenis kebakaran yang terjadi pada bahan padat mudah terbakar. Material mudah terbakar yang bisa menyebabkan kebakaran kelas A diantaranya adalah kayu, kertas, plastik, karet, kain, dll. Jenis alat pemadam api yang bisa mengatasi kebakaran kelas A adalah APAR dry chemical powder dan foam.

2. APAR Kelas B
Kebakaran yang diklasifikasikan ke dalam kelas B disebabkan oleh benda cair atau gas mudah terbakar. Penyebab kebakaran ini diantaranya adalah bensin, minyak, alkohol, thinner, gas LPG, cat, dll. APAR yang dapat digunakan untuk memadamkan api kelas B adalah APAR powder, foam, dan liquid gas.

3. APAR Kelas C
Kebakaran kelas C adalah jenis kebakaran yang terjadi akibat masalah listrik, seperti hubungan pendek arus listrik atau korsleting listrik. Jenis kebakaran ini tidak bisa ditangani dengan media air karena bisa menghantarkan arus listrik. Alat pemadam kebakaran yang tepat untuk mengatasi kebakaran kelas C adalah powder, CO2, dan liquid gas.

4. APAR Kelas D
Kebakaran kelas D terjadi akibat terbakarnya bahan logam mudah terbakar, seperti natrium, litium, dan magnesium. Jenis kebakaran yang melibatkan benda logam mudah terbakar harus ditangani secara khusus menggunakan media pemadam api yang sesuai dengan karakteristik logam yang terbakar.

4. APAR Kelas K
Kebakaran kelas K (Kitchen) adalah jenis kebakaran yang biasa terjadi diarea dapur yang berawal dari bahan cair yang tedapat didapur seperti minyak sayur, minya zaitun, mentega, margarine dan lemak hasil olah masakan yang mudah terbakar. Pada dasarnya kebakaran kelas K (Kitchen) adalah turunan dari jenis kebakaran kelas B yang merupakan kebakaran yang disebabkan oleh bahan cair atau gas yang mudah terbakar seperti solar, bensin, premium, gas LPG, gas alam, oli, minyak sayur dan lain-lain.
Namun mengingat bahan cair mudah terbakar yang terdapat didapur memiliki karakteristik khusus dan memiliki temperatur yang lebih panas, maka diperlukan media pemadam api yang khusus p**a yang mampu mengatasi kebakaran kelas K ini.

Jenis alat pemadam kebakaran harus digunakan sesuai dengan jenis kebakaran yang terjadi. Oleh karena itu, gunakan alat pemadam api yang tepat agar api bisa dipadamkan dengan cepat.

- Bachelor of Engineering degree or a Construction Management Degree

- 10 (ten) years applicable experience in the control of major oil and gas production facilities projects.

- Expertise as Senior Planner, Scheduler, or Project Controller

- Expertise in 3 (three) Integrated Schedule until integration, installation, and commissioning

- Has a working knowledge of applicable industry practices

- Has been principal engineer responsible for the control of similar projects

- Has experienced in the use of computer programs applicable to the control of Resources and Activity duration on construction projects

- Able to determine 3 (three) critical path for each plant and overall project (first, second and third critical path) and always be controlled and discuss to owner if any bias indications.

- Has an experience to analyze potential progress behind due to material delay, lack of manpower or low performance and predict impact to end of project schedule and propose suggestion to avoid project schedule delay.

- Has ability to prepare and monitor a CPM schedule for the project to identify the resources and time required completing the project.

- Has excellent capability to perform sensitivity analysis on the CPM schedule to determine potential areas of slippage and corrective action to be taken.

2. Position Title: Field Piping Engineer (ISBL & OSBL)

- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- 7+ years’ experience oil and gas and petrochemical project (i.e. refinery project, petrochemical, and gas processing/ LNG).

- Has Experience in the field supervisory of pipelines installation including pipeline routing, sizing, isometric, materials selection, corrosion protection and tie-in procedures.

- Has an excellent knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards such as: API, ANSI, ASME, AWE, NACE, ASTM

- Has a proven ability to perform Piping installation and testing with a high level of quality in gas processing plants and utility facilities

- Has experience in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) Management System.

- Working knowledge in the use of computer programs.

- Had maintained effective relationship with COMPANY and CONTRACTOR and good coordination work to completed piping installation activities in accordance with schedule requirements.

- Has Experience in Electrical Distribution System including an integrated electrical power management system.

- Has Experience as Lead Electrical Engineer

Has a wide range of experience in the Instrument/Control installation & testing include Distributed Control System (DCS), Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and Emergency Shutdown System (ESD)

- Has Experience as field supervisor in Major Instrumen/Control system installation and testing

- Has an excellent knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards such as,

• American Petroleum Institute (API),

7. Position Title: Field Surveyor (QS)

5 personnel

Balikpapan 24 months

Job description:

1. Verify Bill of Quantities including Quantity take‐off refer to Construction Drawing

2. Join Survey with Contractors to verify progress claims submitted by Contractors.

3. Liaise with Contractor’s QS on progress payments and variation orders.

4. Measurement, Taking-Off of Quantities, familiar with Bill of Quantities, etc.

5. Identify additional and subtraction of quantities

6. Assist Project Reporting Coordinator in monitoring physical progress

7. Attend Site Meetings and take charge of all clients' request / feedbacks

Requirements:

- Expertise in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical Project.

- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering

- 2 - 5 years experiences in Construction Stage

- Responsible, self-motivated and enthusiastic

8. Position Title: Field Engineer - Tanks/Stationary Equipment

- Local Indonesia

- Willing to work in Balikpapan no rotation

- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering

- 7+ years of experience in oil and gas and petrochemical project.

- Experienced as Mechanical field supervisor especially for Major Mechanical Equipment such as steam Boiler, sphere tank, process vessels and others Mechanical equipment for Process and Utilities plant.

- Expertise in API, ANSI, ASME, AWS, TEMA, NACE, ASTM

- Able to to perform fields supervisory for Mechanical equipment installation and testing with a high level of quality.

- Expertise in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) Management System.

- Expertise in the use of computer programs.

- Good interface with COMPANY and Contractor and good coordination work to completed construction in mechanical activities in accordance with schedule requirements.

9. Position Title: Field ICSS Engineer

- At least a Bachelor of Science degree in Instrument/Control Engineering

- 7 (seven) years’ experience oil and gas and petrochemical project (i.e. refinery project, petrochemical, and gas processing/ LNG).

- Has a wide range of experience in the Instrument/Control engineering with specific in design and planning for Instrument/Control especially for RFCC, hydrotreating, reforming, and hydrocracking plant include Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) and Emergency Shutdown System (ESD)

- Has experience to develop Instrument/Control design basis, conceptual design of Instrument/Control and standard drawings and controlled all the Instrument/Control design activities through the project ex*****on.

- Has Experience in Major Instrument/Control system design.

- Has Experience as Lead Instrument/Control Engineer

- Has an excellent knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards such as API, ANSI, ISA, IEC, NEMA, NFPA, NEC, NFPA 70, IEEE, and ICEA.

- It has been the principal engineer responsible for the design, analysis and review for Instrument/Control systems. in gas processing plants and utility facilities

Pertamina Rancang Peta Jalan Pembangunan Jargas di 25 Kota

Pertamina Gas sudah membuat peta jalan pembangunan jaringan p**a gas (jargas) di 25 kota di seluruh Indonesia pada 2015 hingga 2020. Pembangunan jaringan p**a gas kota ini diharapkan menjadi solusi ketahanan energi nasional.

Direktur Utama Pertamina Gas, Hendra Jaya, mengatakan pembangunan jaringan p**a gas ini akan menggunakan Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN). Dia tidak menyebut berapa nominal investasi yang dibutuhkan.

"Tahun depan Pertamina Gas akan bangun jaringan gas di 25 kota, tapi kotanya belum ditentukan, kami sedang siapkan. Anggaran dari APBN, dan ini jadi tantangan karena harganya nanti diregulasi," kata Hendra, saat berbuka puasa bersama wartawan, di Jakarta, seperti dilaporkan viva.co.id, Jumat (19/6).

Meski peta jalan pembangunan p**a gas di 25 kota ditetapkan hingga 2020, Hendra mengatakan pembangunan akan dipercepat. Dia optimistis pembangunan akan selesai pada 2016.

LIPI Minta Pemerintah Transparan Soal Harga Premium

Peneliti Pusat Penelitian Ekonomi Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI) Maxensius Tri Sambodo mengatakan, Pemerintah diminta untuk lebih transparan dan terbuka dalam penetapan harga bahan bakar minyak (BBM) jenis premium yang mekanisme berubah setiap kurun waktu tertentu.

Loop Pengendalian
Secara umum bentuk loop sistem pengendalian dibagi dua macam, yaitu :

Sistem pengendalian loop terbuka (open loop control system).
Sistem pengendalian loop tertutup (close loop control system).


1. Pengendalian loop terbuka (open loop control system)

Sistem pengendalian loop terbuka (open loop control system) adalah sistem pengendalian yang keluarannya tidak akan dapat mempengaruhi aksi dari pengendaliannya. Jadi pada sistem pengendalian loop terbuka keluarannya tidak diukur atau diumpanbalikkan untuk dibandingkan dengan masukannya.

Sebagai contoh adalah proses pencucian dengan mesin cuci, biasanya perendaman, pencucian dan pembilasan pada mesin cuci dioperasikan berdasarkan waktu dan mesin cuci tidak mengukur keluaran, misalnya sinyal berupa kebersihan dari pakaian setelah dicuci. Jadi pada sistem ini keluaran tidak dibandingkan dengan masukan acuan, sehingga untuk setiap masukan acuan terdapat kondisi operasi yang tetap. Apabila pada sistem loop terbuka mendapat gangguan (disturbance), maka sistem ini tidak dapat bekerja seperti yang diinginkan (mengoreksi gangguan tersebut).

Sistem ini sangat cocok untuk suatu sistem dengan masukan yang telah diketahui dan tidak ada gangguan baik eksternal maupun internal, dan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang diinginkan maka pada sistem pengendalian loop terbuka harus menggunakan komponen-komponen yang teliti dan terkalibrasi.

Controller dan Control Theory

Pengontrolan dapat diartikan sebagai pengaturan atau pengendalian. Pengontrolan dalam proses produksi didefinisikan sebagai upaya pengaturan untuk mempertahankan nilai atau output yang diinginkan tetap terjaga dari pengaruh perubahan atau deviasi yang ditimbulkan oleh proses itu sendiri.

Integrasi komponen kontrol dan algoritma berfungsi untuk mendapatkan system control yang handal. Dalam melakukan tuning controller ada beberapa metode yang secara umum dapat dibagi dua, yaitu: open loop dan closed loop tuning. Pada cascade control, bagian sekunder di tuning terlebih dahulu diikuti bagian primer.

Pengaturan yang presisi dari level, pressure, temperature, dan flow adalah unsur penting dalam aplikasi proses. Perubahan kecil pada control akan membawa dampak yang besar pada hasil akhir. Teknologi proses kontrol adalah sarana penting bagi industri untuk beroperasi dalam limit yang ditentukan, untuk memperoleh kualitas, safety, dan keuntungan yang maksimal.

Sistem pengendalian proses adalah merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam kegiatan suatu proses khususnya industri migas.

Dengan adanya sistem pengendalian kita dapat mengetahui kondisi varibel proses yang sedang berjalan, sehingga apabila terjadi gangguan terhadap proses tersebut operator akan dapat segera mengetahui dan mengambil tindakan perbaikan terhadap gangguan tersebut, sehingga proses akan berjalan dengan aman sesuai dengan yang diinginkan.
