Sad news, Chicken Coop Fire in Pupuan, Tabanan: Losses Reach IDR 1 Billion. A massive fire struck a broiler chicken farm owned by I Made Dharma Wiguna (27) in Banjar Dinas Tibudalem, Pujungan Village, Pupuan District, Tabanan, on Friday night (September 18). As a result of the incident, the chicken coop—measuring approximately 100 by 12 meters—was completely destroyed by the blaze. Approximately 24,000 broiler chickens inside the coop perished in the fire before they could be harvested. Pupuan Sector Police Chief AKP I Nyoman Simpen stated that total losses from the fire are estimated to reach IDR 1 billion, a figure calculated based on damage to the coop structure and the loss of livestock.

Kuta Sector Police Follow Up on Viral Hypnosis Allegation Video; Two Iranian Nationals Detained

Following up on information regarding a viral social media video showing an alleged hypnosis incident involving foreigners, the Kuta Sector Police received intelligence that the individuals suspected of involvement in the video were located in the Kuta area.

On the night of Sunday, September 20, 2026, the Kuta Sector Police Operational Team—led by the Kuta Sector Police Chief, Commissioner (Kompol) Laksmi Trisnadewi Wieryawan, S.H., S.I.K.—immediately mobilized to investigate and act upon the information.

Through their investigation, officers located and detained two Iranian nationals suspected of being the individuals featured in the viral video.

The two were found to be staying at a hotel in the Jalan Kartika Plaza area of ​​Kuta.

When questioned, both foreign nationals admitted to the actions depicted in the video.

Preliminary examination revealed that the incident had actually occurred within the Tabanan Regency area.

Subsequently, the two foreign nationals were handed over to investigators from the Tabanan Resort Police Criminal Investigation Unit for further questioning and processing in accordance with applicable laws.
