China Feels Like Zelda Meets GTA in Real Life 🇨🇳 🎮

I spent 45 days traveling across China and it felt like I was living inside a video game.

One moment you’re exploring ancient temples, mountain kingdoms, and landscapes that look straight out of Zelda.

A few hours later, you’re riding a 220 mph high-speed train into futuristic mega-cities filled with neon lights, giant skyscrapers, and technology that feels straight out of GTA.

I’ve traveled to nearly 90 countries, and nowhere else has given me this feeling.

I rode China’s high-speed rail from Guangzhou to Chongqing on Fuxing Hao 🚄 and the experience felt like traveling into the future.

Covering more than 1,300 km in just a few hours, China’s bullet trains are fast, comfortable, and incredibly efficient. From the modern stations of Guangzhou to the dramatic skyline and mountain scenery of Chongqing, this journey was one of the most impressive train rides I’ve taken anywhere in the world.

Big difference between USA and China is America raises up lawyers and accountants. In China they raise up Engineers. The USA loves to sue and China loves to build. Currently that stood out to me while in China. No big signs along the freeway talking about how to sue a ride share company or some former employer. It was build build build. When will America encourage its smartest students and talent to go into engineering instead of heading to wall street or Law school? This is a topic we discussed on Island Hopper TV Podcast.
