Chiaki Ito, a former member of the popular group AAA, has given birth to her first child.

The singer made the announcement on July 19 through her blog and on Instagram.

"I have safely given birth to my first child. I want to carefully watch over this little treasure with love as it grows up," she said.

The s*x of the child and its exact birth date has not been revealed. Only a photo of the child's hand wrapped around its mother's thumb has been posted.

Ito announced that at the beginning of the year that she had married a non-celebrity male in December 2016 and had become pregnant. She decided to leave AAA as a result of her personal life.

Former Morning Musume member Asuka Fukuda has announced that she is divorced from her former husband.

The divorce occurred in July of 2016; however, the singer did not make the divorce public until July 24, 2017 when she posted a blog about it.

Differences of opinion on how to raise the couple's child were the reason for the divorce. Fukuda's ex-husband did not believe she should continue her music activities after giving birth last February.

It became difficult for Fukuda and her ex-husband to live peacefully with each other. The fundamental differences on how to be parents created a situation that couldn't go on long term, causing the two to seek a divorce.

Fukuda did not disclose her divorce until a year after it occurred to protect her child. The two took time to figure out how to be parents to the newborn without being together, and did so privately until they reached a positive place.

The singer promised to do everything in her power to give her child a happy life. She will maintain a good relationship with her ex-husband so the two can be in the child's life on good terms.

Asuka Fukuda is one of the original members of Morning Musume. She left the group in April of 1999 to focus on her studies. In 2011, she returned to the entertainment industry, joining the group PEACE$TONE.

Fukuda and her ex-husband married each other during the spring of 2015.

New event from Anime Festival Asia organisers for local creators, Creators Super Fest 2017 to be held 29 & 30 April 2017
Jakarta, 21 March 2017 - Event Organisers, SOZO that has successfully organised one of the largest Japanese pop culture event in Indonesia, Anime Festival Asia, is announcing another new event called Creators Super Fest. The event is focused on local Creators, these are indie artists who have dedicated themselves to creating works as a tribute for their favorite series and also their own original works.

Creators Super Fest will be held in Grand Ballroom Hotel Pullman Central Park Jakarta on 29-30 April 2017. The festival will celebrate and unify creators within the region. Visitors can not only shop for fan-made merchandise, but also indulge in various shows, workshops and concerts.

Welcoming Local Creators’ Enthusiasm
Creators Super Fest stems from Anime Festival Asia’s Creators hub, which is an area that promotes local artists and encourages them to create their own works of art, be it in form of print, music or crafts. The Creators Hub area remains as one of the most popular contents in Anime Festival Asia.

Managing Director of SOZO, Shawn Chin said, “ Every year, we are astounded by the overwhelming response the local community community has given us. Ever Green Entertainment, the agency that represented Yusuke Yamamoto, has terminated its contract with the actor due to a breach of contract.

A statement was released by the agency on March 21 announcing the contract cancellation. The agency did not give any specifics into how Yamamoto violated his contract.

"Due to a series of various circumstance up to this day, we have determined that Yusuke Yamamoto does not meet the standards of our company. We consider him in violation of his contract, and have decided to terminate the contract for this reason," the agency said.

Details about what Yamamoto did to warrant his contract's cancellation were not discussed; however, the company stated that he did not break the law.

Yamamoto is no stranger to controversy. The actor's past indiscretions include having a one-night stand with a woman who later leaked photos of the two of them in bed, and being accused of molesting a masseuse.

With other transgressions already on record, reporters and netizens alike are trying to figure out what Yamamoto could have done to force his agency to cancel his contract.

Yamamoto is a well known actor who has appeared in popular series such as "Kamen Rider Kabuto", "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" and "Ouran High School Host Club".

Sayumi Michishige, a former member of Morning Musume, has returned to the stage, holding her first performance since graduating from the group 2 years and 4 months ago.

The event, titled "SAYUMINGLANDOLL ~Rebirth~", was held in Tokyo at COTTON CLUB on March 19. It is describe not as a "concert" or a "musical", but rather as a unique kind of experience.

Michishige began preparing for her return in August 2016. During her time away, she lived her life as a normal person, and traveled with her family. She was surprised by how difficult it was to get back into shape for performing.

"I'm considerably less fit...I still feel sore," the singer said lightheartedly, a laugh escaping her lips.

At the time of her graduation, Michishige thought she had reached her peak at 25-years-old. With her return, the singer wants to be an example for aging women, showing that you can be just as good when you're older as you are when you're younger.

Although she was concerned about her abilities in the days leading up to the performance, when she got back on stage for the first time, she felt like she was at home. The singer performed an 80 minute set that used stage changes, projection mapping, laser shows and more to dazzle the audience.

6 new songs were performed during Michishige's concert. A soundtrack album will go on sale on April 10 at the venue.

"SAYUMINGLANDOLL ~Rebirth~" will run through April 16 at the COTTON CLUB. A total of 36 performances during this time will be held.

RADWIMP's song "Bouningen" has been selected to be the theme song to the upcoming drama series "Frankenstein no Koi".

"Bouningen" is a track off of RADWIMP's latest album "Ningen Kaika". It was chosen to be the drama's theme song due to the lyrics matching the atmosphere of the show.

"I was a little surprised when I first got the script because I thought 'Bouningen' was a song for humans. However, if the protagonist's story is about his desire to live like a human, then we have something in common with Frankenstein," Yojiro Noda, the band's vocalist, said.

The selection of "Bouningen" as the show's theme song is notable because most dramas use new music as their theme song. The relationship is mutually beneficial for both the artist and the program.

"Frankenstein no Koi" will begin airing on April 23.

44-year-old Masahiro Nakai, the leader of the now disbanded boyband SMAP, has been dating a 32-year-old choreographer and dancer Maika Takeda for the past 6 years.

Nakai's secret relationship was first published by Shukan Post, a tabloid magazine that has taken photos of the two together. Various other Japanese new agencies, including Nikkan Sports and Sanspo, have ran their own stories about the relationship.

According to reports, Nakai's girlfriend has been a backup dancer for artists such as Namie Amuro and Miliyah Kato. She has also helped choreograph AKB48's dances since 2010.

The two are said to have their own apartments in Tokyo, but live near each other. Although they have their own place, the two regularly cohabitate.

While a member of SMAP, Nakai was unable to date openly. The couple's love was fostered in secret over the years. With the group now disbanded, the two no longer have to keep the relationship hidden.
