7 Warning Signs of a Child Predator Every Parent Should Know
Not everyone who seems kind has good intentions.
As parents, we can't protect our children every second of the day—but we can teach them how to recognize unsafe behavior.
Here are 7 warning signs to watch for:
They try to become close to your child very quickly.
They give excessive attention or gifts without a clear reason.
They often look for opportunities to be alone with your child.
They tell your child to keep secrets from you.
They ignore your child's physical boundaries or make them uncomfortable.
They use gifts or rewards to gain trust or control.
They work hard to earn the trust of the entire family while refusing to respect your child's "No."
Important: One sign alone does not mean someone is a predator. However, when several of these behaviors appear repeatedly, they should never be ignored.
💙 Teach your child that:
It's okay to say "NO."
They should never keep secrets that make them feel scared or uncomfortable.
They can always talk to a trusted adult without fear.
Awareness is one of the greatest forms of protection.
