High-Sugar Foods and Drinks: Soft drinks, packaged fruit juices, sweets, cakes, and candy. 6. Alcoholic Beverages: Beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages can increase uric acid levels. 7. Vegetables: Spinach, asparagus, and cauliflower contain quite high levels of purines. 8. Processed Foods: Avoid processed foods that contain many additives such as preservatives, colorings, and artificial sweeteners. 9.
