After nearly two years without guiding clients on Arowana fishing trips, I returned in late 2026 to guide clients in searching for and fishing for Saratoga Arowana in Merauke, South Papua. Despite a prolonged dry season that left river levels extremely low and the heat intense, we still managed to catch these fish.
