Gurun Pasir Telaga Biru is one of the most unique places I visited in Bintan Island. It used to be a mining area, but over time the sand dunes and blue lakes turned it into a landscape that looks almost unreal. Quiet, wide, and beautiful in a very unexpected way.

If you are planning a trip to Bintan Island, this is a place worth seeing for yourself. The mix of golden sand and bright blue water is incredibly photogenic, and the peaceful surroundings make it easy to slow down and enjoy the view. I visited it during my trip with , and it ended up being one of my favourite stops on the island.

I grew up listening to UNGU, so standing in the crowd that night felt a little surreal. I’m not really a concert person, but moments like this remind me why live music hits differently. Pasha’s voice was powerful and steady, the kind that pulls you straight into the song.

There are stories that hit you straight in the heart, and this was one of them. “Ocean of Star” carried a weight that was tender and overwhelming all at once.

Lim Chia Chia’s monodrama was raw and honest, the kind of performance that exposes every layer of a mother’s love for her autistic child. You could feel the fear, the strength, the exhaustion, the hope. It was powerful in a way that didn’t need big gestures. Just truth.

Looking at these black and white frames brings back the intensity of that night. Because art like this does more than move you.

Black and white felt right for this moment. Ella on stage in Penang back in October 2023.

The energy. The voice. The crowd that knew every word.
Some performances stay with you long after the night ends.

Looking back at these black and white frames still brings back the same feeling. And knowing she’s returning for another concert next year makes it feel like the journey continues.

I wasn’t expecting the Level 10 lobby at Cititel Express Ipoh to have such a peaceful view of Ipoh. The blinds softened the morning light, and the city stretched quietly beyond the hills.
There is something calming about watching a place from above, like the day hasn’t fully started yet.

Black and white brings out the shadows and details that you might miss in colour. Just a quiet moment in a lobby, with Ipoh sitting softly in the distance.
