✨ Ballet made a triumphant return to Jakarta as the Bournonville Ballet Gala dazzled audiences at Usmar Ismail Hall in celebration of 75 years of Denmark–Indonesia diplomatic relations. Featuring stunning performances of La Sylphide, William Tell Pas De Deux (in its Indonesian premiere), and other classics from the Bournonville repertoire, the evening was brought to life by talented young Indonesian dancers under the mentorship of world-renowned Danish ballet icons Frank Andersen and Eva Kloborg. Principal dancer Jon Axel Fransson of the Royal Danish Ballet delivered a showstopping appearance, while organizer Wenny Halim and local institutions like Ballet Sumber Cipta, Cicilia Ballet School, and Gitanada Music School helped unite Jakarta’s vibrant dance community. 🌺✨ Indonesia’s Minister of Culture, Fadli Zon, together with Governor of Bali, I Wayan Koster, officially inaugurated the Bali Cultural Park at Dolina Charlotty Resort in Słupsk, Poland. This visionary project was initiated by Mirosław Wawrowski, the Honorary Consul of Poland for Indonesia and owner of Dolina Charlotty, who was inspired by his admiration for Indonesian culture. Supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Warsaw, the park spans three hectares and stands as the largest Balinese cultural center in Europe. Designed and built by Balinese artisans using materials imported from Indonesia, the park features temples, ogoh-ogoh statues, ornate gates, art pavilions, and traditional bale bengong spaces — all bringing the spirit of Bali to the heart of Europe. During its inauguration, visitors were treated to performances by ISI Denpasar, dancers from Jakarta and East Nusa Tenggara, and the enchanting rhythms of gamelan, creating a powerful cultural moment. More than a tourist attraction, the park serves as a symbol of Indonesia’s cultural diplomacy, aiming to foster global exchange, artistic collaboration, and deeper understanding. Wawrowski’s future plan to recreate other Indonesian provinces on his 15-hectare property highlights how culture can connect people beyond borders. 🇮🇩🤝🇵🇱
