This Galvanized Sand Trick Will Poison You

POV macro top view: old galvanized square tubing 19-gauge 0.040 wall sitting in sand. Flap disc on galvanized creates white zinc dust + sand cloud. Macro shows sand embedding in steel and disc. Breathing zinc = metal fume fever, chills, nausea, poison. Plus sand = weld crack, paint peel. Fix: P100 respirator, outdoors, fan behind you, clamp in vise not sand, 40 grit flap disc to strip zinc, wipe acetone.

Wait Till End See Close Call Horror

No More Wobble With This Corner Brace

POV macro top view: 19-gauge steel frame wobbles, racks left to right, 0.040 inch wall, 1x1 inch tube. One diagonal corner brace stops all movement instantly. Cleaning rusty 19-gauge square tubing is tricky. It's only 0.040 inch wall, 1x1 inch tube. Thick grinding disc will blow through it instantly. I used to grind bare hands, now I use leather gloves, safety glasses, and 80 grit flap disc in a vise. Works perfect for carport, fence, garden projects. Beginners in Texas, Florida, Colorado, Michigan, Alberta, Ontario - don't use grinding disc on 19 gauge.

Roast My First Rusty Painted Weld Attempt

POV: You learn to weld on rusty painted steel without grinding. This ugly weld is what you get. Paint + rust = porosity + no pe*******on. I used taped ground clamp and made it worse. If you're a beginner welder - watch till end to see what I did wrong.

No square ruler? Use string + electrode! Cut one side of 1 inch angle iron, keep other leg, bend to perfect 90°. String line keeps it straight, electrode checks 90° instantly.
